So Spore is being released on September 7th! Is anyone as excited as I am? I've already preordered it myself. I think it's going to be an amazing game. Everyone in my area (Washington) has no clue about Spore XD At least no one I know. So I'm on my own here. Just wondering if any of you are going to be getting it!

Yeah. Same. Have you preordered it at all? If you do, and you chose to download it, you can have it downloaded on your computer and it will unlock the day it's released.

The 7th? I have this little flyer in front of me (came with the new sims 2 add-on) that tells me it will come out on the 4th where I am from. And I am from Germany, so I doubt i will get it earlier than you guys....

I also preordered it. Man I was waiting for this ever since a friend told me about it when they just announced it. I am so glad I will finally be able to play it. I hope to see some creations from you guys.

I'm really excited about this game as well.  I'm just afraid that when this game comes out my grades are going to drop and progress on my game is going to halt; this looks like that type of game.

I've already made a lot of things on the creature creator, and the customization is amazing. I really can't wait, though I don't know if I look forward with my species making contact with the Penis-People from Dicktopia.

Lmao Kaze. XD I haven't tried the creator creator. I wanted the whole game to be new to me, and not ruin it by playing around it with. =D. But yeah, from what I've been hearing, and from what it says on the EA download manager, its being released next sunday. One week from today! =)

Actually yes, some countries, most of which are from europe, or them australians, are getting the game before us USAians. which sucks, and makes me want to move to australia. (some people are selling copies early though, some guy already has one, and is streaming it!)

Has anyone played the Prototypes of the early game ideas? I only have Waterboy and Space, but they are pretty cool. I recommend getting space if you want to get a taste of the final part of the game; just don't go crazy if you find a planet covered in domes that are 'shooting' stuff everywhere. They aren't going to hurt you. And when giving presents, aim AT the aliens. They bounce.
