This here's my updated desktop as of like a week ago or something, most likely longer than that.

Project64 I keep pinned to the Start Menu because sometimes it acts retarded and freezes, and you know what happens when Majora's Mask freezes. Also the two icons on the bottom right are part of ZSNES. I have to keep them there because otherwise ZSNES won't work from the Desktop.

Or you could place 'em all in some map, and make a shortcut.

imo the desktop has a really useful functionality that lots of people ignore. here's a hint: it's a folder itself. i store lots of stuff on the desktop because it's useful, practical and easy.

I like this desktop.

Regarding noise's comment: I don't store a lot on my desktop because any internet download I have is in a folder named 'Internet Downloads'. Then it's sectioned off into its respective function: Programs, Zips, Rars, 7z, Code, Images, PDFs, et cetera.

I rarely see the desktop when I'm working.

Awesome Bro

Is that Objectdock, Samot? I use the same thing.

And why the fuck would he want to buy an inferior system JUST for the dock? I'm quite happy with just using the best (visual) part of MacOS in Windows, thanks.

Ouch... lets not start a flame war shall we?

Nothing special, something I snapped up real quick because I like purple gradiants.

I really like BlueHazed's. Mind giving some tips on how to accomplish that? I use ubuntu as my linux of choice, any tips?

jup jup, it is
pretty neat little feature, gotten quite used to it..
whenever I'm on another computer without it, I often press my mouse to the top of my screen.. and nothing happens

@Xaixis: I'm using openbox and tint2. It's pretty easy to configure, install openbox, and then tint2, and add tint2 to openbox's autostart.sh file (~/.config/openbox/autostart.sh) (add line "tint2 &") and then it's just about editing the tint2 config file (~/.config/tint2/tint2rc) to whatever you like. The panel is really customizable.

For openbox, I'd also install Nitrogen for wallpaper management.

Thanks BH! I'll get on that on my other computer, that's just way cool.

@mawk Thanks dude! Yeah at first I had the simple purple gradiant, then got bored so I whipped up the ghost/face/whatever you want to call it.
I'll probably make him my avatar soon but I don't really want to change the one I have b/c I've had it for so long... what to do what to do hehe
