So, er, I was going to ask a girl out yesterday but chickened out; turns out she did the same.

... Not to sound like a dick, but I was always under the impression you were gay for some reason o.O
"Being gay" or "being straight" become kinda irrelevant in my situation and people just become people. I know that sounds happy clappy tumblr shit but w/e.

It's pretty much the only Tumblr shit that actually makes sense to me anymore.

But is that like the general rule for transgender(?) people or do some of you opt to swing one way or another? Like, is being attracted to dudes a part of identifying as a woman for some trans-women or are gender identity and sexuality pretty much always separate?

I was gonna' ask something similar myself, lol

I can't speak for everyone, and there is a general misinformation/lack of education amongst trans people on the Internet anyway. But we are, biologically, attracted to one or the other, in general (or bisexual, etc); it's just that the more you look into gender the more it blurs and you realise it's not important.

In general though, trans people are as much gay, straight or bi as normal people, to the same levels (trans women tend to prefer men, trans men tend to prefer women).

But even then I still maintain nobody is fully one or the other, which can be proven by the fact some men look identical to women and vice versa. Our attractions are purely psychological. Sexually it's different, but who judges their relationships on the working order of their partner's genitals? Ever asked a guy if he's had a vesectomy before dating him, or asked a girl if she can give birth before going down on her? (To put it bluntly and hopefully inoffensively).

My answer would then be: everyone's just attracted to what they're attracted to.

Looking at a new graphics tablet but have no idea how much I should be paying or which model to go for... I remember a while back people were telling me to go for a wacom bamboo, but apparently they've discontinued the bamboo now and replaced it with the intuos series or something, I literally have no idea though lol... just looking at spending around £50 or something, don't wanna' be going expensive... anyone got any ideas?

I'm using intuos5 touch. Definitely make sure the usb cord is detachable so you can replace it if the wires break. Dunno how much I spent on mine, but I'm pretty sure its less then what I would have spent on traditional mediums. Not to mention, it's all digital. So I don't have to worry about accidentally leaving something lewd in the scanner bed.

I don't really care for the touch features. Especially now that I've worn the surface down, it's smoother but my fingers kinda drag. And I really miss having a mouse and scroll wheel.

I have two tablets, a Wacom Bamboo something-a-rather with my desktop, and this one which lives in my laptop case.
It had a few issues to begin with but I got it sorted out. Not bad for the price I paid; definitely not disappointed. The only real problems I have with it is it's probably just a bit too large for what I need for on-the-go. Pen batteries make it feel kinda heavy, but the pen tip feels nice so it's ok. The USB cable doesn't detach either, but considering the price it doesn't bother me.

I spent the new year puking and other even less pleasant related things

On the other hand I got the keys to my new house so that's fucking radical

Those two questions are actually valid sometimes, because some people are going to want kids. Which would really suck if your partner turns out to be trans (or otherwise infertile), but must suck a lot more if you are the trans one and you really want to get pregnant.

Which reminds me of reading recently about a trans woman in Britain getting a uterus transplant and getting pregnant by in vitro fertilization. Modern medicine is seriously impressive.

There's this amazing thing called adoption. You might have heard of it at some point.
