It really upsets me when this happens. People will see it and start sending me abusive messages and then vote kick me for no reason. Apparently once a cheater, always a cheater, regardless of the circumstances or how long ago it was or the game.
I don't regret anything, I just feel that my punishment should be the fact that I can't access VAC secured servers on the games that I cheated on back then, I don't think my punishment should be that I am free to receive abusive messages on Steam and get kicked out of games over a prejudice.
I know people will disagree with me because everyone hates hackers for no reason, but they are real people too. It's not "good guys versus hackers".
