Back on the RuneScape. I think I have a yearly development cycle as well as a monthly one. My life seems to just be on a loop where I play GW2 for months, RS for months, cry, make games, cry, Christmas, then back to GW2.

Also what the feck, their new quest is literally just talk to x person, talk to y person, talk to z person, done. That's not a quest.

Programming with human calendars is bloody annoying.

Got ISO8601 on my side (yay) but this server I'm sending queries to does weird rounding and only lets me get "a year's worth of data" at a time.

Problem; what the hell is "a year's worth of data" when some of that data falls within leap-years and leap-seconds and British summer-time?

Looks like the "minimum FPS the eye can see" has been bumped up again...To 500Hz.

Yesterday I would have said "it's trending towards 200, but not too long ago we used to think it was 90Hz and before that 70Hz", this article that claims to prove 500Hz is perceivable mentions the 90Hz and 72Hz previous thought of numbers; https://www.nature.com/articles/srep07861

500Hz is a median value as some testers claimed to see flicker artefacts at 800Hz.
