Post What's on Your Mind

I think moog means they found them malnourished and took them in.
Unfortunately due to the way your body starts using your internal organs as energy, severe malnourishment can still kill you even after you've started eating again :(

woke up to go to work and found my puppy dead on my porch :(

She was a fighter, found her in a ditch malnourished and managed to nurse her back but I guess it wasn't enough. Had her for almost 4 months.

Rip little girl :(
I'm sorry. *hugs*

OMG some people actually pronounce Zee as Zed. I don't go outside of American much. No reason to...

Z = Zee. Say it with me "ZEE".

I'll sound like a complete dumbass in my country if I said 'Dragon Ball Zed'.
Zombie, not Zedombie. Zee is very important. Zebra, not zedbra.

I have a special attack called the 'Quantum-Z Blast'. I seriously don't want any people saying Quantum Zed Blast. I didn't design it to be said like that. For the British version of my story, Z will be replaced with the word Zee. Seriously.

Do I speak English? No, I speak American...

Say "Zedd" and then say "Zedd-bruh" and then remove the 'dd' so it's "zeh-bruh" and that's how we pronounce "Zee-braa".

In practise, we never say "Zed" unless it's part of an acronym (Dragon Ball Z isn't an acronym). It's like how we say "W" is "double-yoo" or "H" is "a'itch" or "hae'tch".

Personally, I prefer zee because you really don't get any words where it's zed, but if I said zee instead of zed I'd sound like I had the mental age of a 2 year old, so I stick with zed anyway.

I forgot that was even a thing. Only time I ever heard ZED was in Lord Zedd.

And I never questioned the pronunciation of Dragon Ball Z because it was in the theme song. And in the narration "Will the Zee warriors make it out alive? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Zee"

What? Not Zeta? It'd be funny if you had all these attack names like Alpha Beta Gamma Phi Chi blasts and then the odd ball Zed that doesn't fit the pattern.

Dude. dude. DUDE!
Quantum Zeta Blast was the original name!! I use alpha, Beta, Delta, and Omega for transformations. I didn't want my powers to use those names too. (Officially the Z stands for Zeta. You're smart to arrive at that conclusion. It only makes sense. I'm really amaze you came up with it too.)

My main female protagonist has an attack called the 'Volta-Z Blast'. It's the most used attack in my story. When she battled me for the 1st time, my finishing move didn't have a name. Here's how it went:
Ellis: Wow. You fight well, but I'm afraid this is the end for you... *Powers up* ... You won't survive this next attack.

Tyrell: I was just about to say the same to you... *Powers up* ... Bright it on!

Ellis: VOLTA-Z BLAST!!

Tyrell: Ha! That's perfect! QUANTUM-Z BLAST!!

[The 2 large energy beams clash. A beam struggle begins]

Ellis: (No way! He's matching my power output. Who the hell is this guy?)

Tyrell: (She's so powerful. I have to thank her. I've been trying to name this attack for weeks.)

[ 2 minutes later... A huge sphere of energy forms between the colliding beams...]

Ellis: It's a stalemate! We should stop now, or we'll destroy the galaxy!

Tyrell: I concur! That reaction sphere is pretty damn big! (I could have defeated her, but she's so darn cute. I'm pathetic. Oh well.)

It's a scene similar to DBZ, but on a larger scale. Most of my hybrid characters fight in deep space. Planetary combat is rare in my story. I keep it that way because fighting on a populated planet is extremely dangerous. If someone powers up too high-- BOOM!! A goddamn supernova happens...

HENkaku'd my Vita. NVIDIA game streaming is working-ish, gunna do more testing tomorrow.
Exciting stuff though, nice to actually be able to use it now.
I'm thinking of developing for it. Maybe. If I can really be bothered.

Sounds like Dragon Ball Z but with American names

Yeah, but the difference is like night and day. I enjoy explaining it to people. So I apologize:

Attribute attacks
My characters have attributes and are limited to certain attacks. Ellis is an Electric/Light attribute hybrid. Electricity and photonic particle attacks are all she has access to.

Frequent use of Energy Barriers
Force fields and shields are used a lot, and there's almost no physical attacks. Physical attacks of any kind will not break a hybrid's force field. Even kinetic energy exceeding that of an exploding universe won't do anything... Only energy beams, blasts, or pulses can defeat shields/Force fields. Use powers only until shields fall.

Planet Creation
All main characters can literally create planets, instead just destroying them. The attribute limitation isn't present when creating a planet. Ellis could spawn rock, water, lava, oxygen, or any planetary ingredient.

Scale of power
In DBZ a supernova attack is a glowing orange ball that explode a single planet. In my story a supernova attack is an actual 'supernova'. It causes an explosion rated at 10 octillion megatons. The blast radius big enough to decimate an enitre star system.

My weakest character (Abigail) can destroy a star system every second for 24 hours. My strongest character (Ex-Gemini) can delete existence just by existing... A kill radius of 8 googolplex light years. Warning! You might have a stroke trying to scale how big that is. Don't try.

Edit: Tablet retardation. LOL

whats the point of spawning and deleting planets

Spawning planets
Let's say if human race needs another planet to live on. They can ask a hybrid woman to spawn one in a habitation zone. Additional planets are great for expansion, or just placing a strategic planet base. If Earth gets blown up, a Hybrid woman can replace the planet with an 100% identical one (with buildings and all). The character I play can resurrect all people killed on a planet, and place them on a newer planet if necessary.(wildlife included).

Destroying planets
Let's say there's a huge enemy military base on a nearby planet. Blowing it up is a show of force and might. Not completely necessary, and it's very excessive.

What are hybrids mainly used for?
These beings are like the nuclear weapons of the future. Using them in combat is dangerous and could lead to a hybrid war. Hybrids are primarily a last resort. All the major races in the universe has at least one hybrid being to protect their empire, if conventional warfare and defenses fail. Earth's Hybrid is named Ellis Avalon. She fights for the human race for example.

Some hybrids are psychic! These rare beings are strategically critical as they can predict actions across the galaxy and universe. "Our psychic hybrid can block your psychic hybrid. We have an strategic advantage. Surrender or be eliminated. We have knowledge on all your movements and actions before you make them. Kinda unfair, but that's life..." --Earth's President--

Hybrid wars
These are horrible. When all major factions in a galaxy resort to using their hybrids in combat, all hell breaks loose. Enitre star systems will be destroyed. Billions of people die. When hybrids battle each other it's not pleasant. An enitre galaxy could be blown away... In some rare cases, the entire universe...

Absolutely nothing like Dragon Ball Z... Night and day. Their protagonist characters can't even breathe in space!

You haven't seen Battle of the Gods or Dragon Ball Super then.

They've got Super Saiyan God form now. Even before Vegeta came to Earth he was able to blow-up planets. He also telepathically communicated with Nappa - an ability we never see again.
Heck, Master Roshi blew up the moon.

Now there's Beerus, God of Destruction. Power levels don't really mean anything to him. He taps his finger on a table and the planet splits in 2. He sneezes in his sleep and blows up a sun. His attendant Whis can rewind time a bit to avoid any accidents. Together they are Beer and Whiskey.
Beerus and Goku fight, and their punches sent shockwaves through the fabric of reality. Beerus isn't really a bad guy, more like chaotic neutral. At first it looks like he blows up planets for petty reasons but that's actually his job to balance creation with destruction.

Actually I've seen everything DBZ in existence. (Very close to it really. Even Dragon Ball Z 4D)
That was high atmosphere. Technically sub-orbital just like Bardock was right before he died and planet Vegeta exploded. Goku can't breathe in space unless the enitre Lord Frieza saga dialog is invalid. He's just holding his breath or something. Continuity errors? Or SSJ god emits oxygen all of a sudden?

I saw how Whis cheated after golden Lord Frieza blew up Earth. Yes, Beerus blew up half a planet with his pinky finger. There's even this new dude in dragon Ball super that blew up 4 universes with his mind. I'm not impressed. Goku and Beerus almost destroyed the universe with punches. Don't forget super Buu almost did the same by ripping reality apart in the Buu saga. *Yawn* The creator better remember the feats.

They're still feather weights when compared to my top tier characters. I don't see DBZ killing omnipotent beings as if it's nothing. Being called a 'God' would be an insult to most of my top rated beings. Ex-Gemini would just erase anyone from existence within a quadrillionth of a second, regardless of any consideration. 'Simply the ultimate being in the history of fiction.'

When a DBZ character tickled by an energy blast equivalent to 500 trillion universes exploding,
Give me call :). Inconsistencies can kill a good story. I make sure my story never suffers from it, and continuity errors.

IE: Superman bench press a planet, a few episodes later he struggles to lift up a civilian plane... Dafuq?

Temporal back step is lame as hell... Time fuckery annoys me so much I almost banned it in my story. As Star Trek fan I can't stand timeline wars, and time manipulation in anyway.

There's only 3 chrono attribute bitches in my whole story. They all die.

I got an email reporting suspicious activity from my Twitter account.
I don't use twitter. I had an account once, but I thought i deactivated it.

I log in, and it says I'm following 500+ people. All in different languages. Arabic, Japanese, Russian. I took the time to unfollow everything before I tried deactivating it again.
