Sounds like Dragon Ball Z but with American names
Yeah, but the difference is like night and day. I enjoy explaining it to people. So I apologize:
Attribute attacks
My characters have attributes and are limited to certain attacks. Ellis is an Electric/Light attribute hybrid. Electricity and photonic particle attacks are all she has access to.
Frequent use of Energy Barriers
Force fields and shields are used a lot, and there's almost no physical attacks. Physical attacks of any kind will not break a hybrid's force field. Even kinetic energy exceeding that of an exploding universe won't do anything... Only energy beams, blasts, or pulses can defeat shields/Force fields. Use powers only until shields fall.
Planet Creation
All main characters can literally create planets, instead just destroying them. The attribute limitation isn't present when creating a planet. Ellis could spawn rock, water, lava, oxygen, or any planetary ingredient.
Scale of power
In DBZ a supernova attack is a glowing orange ball that explode a single planet. In my story a supernova attack is an actual 'supernova'. It causes an explosion rated at 10 octillion megatons. The blast radius big enough to decimate an enitre star system.
My weakest character (Abigail) can destroy a star system every second for 24 hours. My strongest character (Ex-Gemini) can delete existence just by existing... A kill radius of 8 googolplex light years. Warning! You might have a stroke trying to scale how big that is. Don't try.
Edit: Tablet retardation. LOL
