I keep meaning to get back into using the RM* programs, not sure which one... but I never get around to it... sucks too since I still have ideas from years ago, lol. The main game I'd been working on was more than halfway done, it was only going to be a short game, two hours tops maybe, but I'd mapped out every area, made a fuck ton of sprite edits and stuff, and was half way through the eventing (It was pretty much cutscenes all over with a few areas of exploration, I like to focus on storytelling more than gameplay), and then my hard drive went kaput and I lost everything, couldn't be arsed starting over again... think that's why I lack the motivation or something lol.

The ticks are really bad this year. Just standing in short grass, I'll spot one crawling up my leg. Luckily none of them were attached. I pulled one off the dog's ear, and picked off more than a few that were crawling on it's fur. I put anti-tick ointment on her after the incident with the rabbit.
Have I mentioned the rabbit?
The dog found a tick infested rabbit; It was practically comatose. I tried to save it but I couldn't count the number of ticks I pulled off it. I'd dunk it in a bucket of water and all these little ticks that weren't attached just floated off. I really should have worn gloves- but I was careful none got on me. I've heard tick bites can make an animal really sick, but they recover pretty fast once you get them off. But this rabbit died like a hour later. I buried it...not so deep; a coyote or something must have dug it up because their was fur everywhere. whatever tore it up probably has worms now.

Beware of deer ticks. Those can make you really sick. Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, Lyme disease, Babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, etc.

Classic FM is doing a video game special right now. It's pretty much entirely RPG orchestral music.

My game now has wifi street-pass style scanning implemented, it works okay (luckily it's a game so reliability isn't a priority - hurrah for games development).

When on a LAN, it will UDP scan that way.

I've got Bluetooth LE implemented, no idea if it's working because only one of my Android devices supports it. So I need to get a new phone.


Amy, do you know if that Wileyfox supports Bluetooth LE advertising and scanning?

So many mosquito bites! My ankles look like they have chicken pox. Also the humidity is doing stuff to my hair I didn't even know it could do without a curling iron.

I had a moment of bliss today though. As things were winding down I thought, nothing else to do this week but watch new episodes. It was like coming home on a Friday after school. :angel:

I finally figured out how to transfer files to my tablet over wireless. I always just did stuff with the usb cable.
I basically had my laptop locked down to prevent filesharing, so I had to mess with settings I'm not really familiar with.

lol, I tried bluetooth. Never done that before, and never again. SLOW.

So now I'm moving a bunch of videos over since I'm going to be in a car most of the day tomorrow. My laptop battery is only good for a few hours. I find out how long my tablet last playing videos.

Are there any security measures I should take before making a Teamspeak/gaming server public? I'm learning the admin tools of TS3 pretty well but I'm not really sure what risks come with letting strangers in. I mean, if anyone bothered; it's just a thing I'm doing for my Planetside group, but still.
