... So apparently I'm making TWO new games right now, one of them being made in VX Ace, and the other in Construct 2... nothing to do with each other, but meh. And since I'm off work for the next two days, and if I can be arsed, I might make a thread for the VX Ace one.

I'm thinking I'm probably gonna make my game in Unreal. Now that royalties are only 5%, there is really no advantage Unity has over it besides using C# instead of C++. I'm gonna fiddle with it in the next few days and see how I like it.

I'm glad someone is doing good in the game making area... Congratz.

At my current rate I'll be done with my game around the date the story takes place. Year 9032 XR aka 13024 AD. I wish I was joking... I believe it maybe faster to just draw a comic book / manga instead of making a game. Telling the story is my only real goal anyway. Gotta focus on something.

The Linux gaming market is certainly growing, but it isn't sizable to influence the target deployments for entertainment software, the best reason to deploy to Linux is code health if you are in C/C++ and the next best reason is because you want a market in Linux.

Android runs the Linux gaming world right now, unfortunately.
