And besides that...

Powerthirst! It's like crystal meth in a can!
It's crystal meth in a can!
Powerthirst is crystal meth!

Ergo, I feel your pain there. Energy drinks... They're so bad, but they're so goood... :'<
Meh... just drink kratindaeng, if you can find it. I owed several school projects to those little glass bottles, as well as using them to kickstart my brilliant idea of not needing sleep.
It worked quite well, actually. For a week.
Then things started to go downhill.
I got so hyper from not having slept, it was just annoying. Couldn't really sit still/concentrate.

And yes, for some reason not having slept in a while makes me more wakeful. I'm just awesome that way.

FYI to energy drink imbibers: Drugs like [high amounts of]caffeine, guarana, speed, ephedrine, etc., which speed up the heart unnaturally, weaken your heart over time. They may not directly cause heart disease, but they certainly don't help.

But hey, who wants to live to be 80 anyway :P. Not me!

(Although I assume I'll have a different opinion when I'm 79.)

Judging by my hand, I'm going to live to be around 120. And also I'm not very vain and there was some disruption in my past -- or there's going to be some in my future, I'm not sure which. : P

I'm afraid that Rockstar was the only thing keeping me up and shambling over the summer. Here's to having an extra twenty hours put on your weekly schedule without your knowing.

Of course, with life support technology being what it is, chances are we'll all live to become senile. Unless there have been some good improvements in the field of geriatrics as well (and an increase in the number of kids who give a damn about aging parents,) I'd rather not go sans eyes, sans teeth, sans everything, or however the hell that went.

I'm fecked.

I have a SERIOUS caffeine dependancy. As in, if I don't have it for a 12-hour period, I get a migraine...

Trying to lay off a bit...

Stupid school...

Sounds like addiction to me.
No, don't laugh - hear me out.
Caffeine is an addictive chemical. Taken on its own, it's a psychoactive stimulant. Dependence on caffeine can lead to anxiety and stress disorders, and stomach ulcers in extreme cases.
Also, it can lead to male infertility and birth defects.
It's possible for people's brains to become hardwired and cause them to be physically addicted to caffeine, sort of like someone who is addicted to methamphetamines(not the best example, but it's the first other stimulant drug I thought of).
Since prolonged exposure to caffeine causes the brain to develop more adenosine receptors (adenosine is what tells the brain 'Hey! You're getting tired now!'), which means that when you suddenly stop drinking/taking caffeine, you get a ton of lethargy and your sleep patterns are messed up.
There's a ton of other stuff I could mention as well, but I don't want to worry you.
I would advise you to quit before you get addicted, though.
I've been through that, and it is not fun.
Withdrawal lasts roughly a week, and peaks after about 48 hours. It's ...not an enjoyable experience.

Am I the only one who noticed that Lucy has that Goth/Emo looks, that scares the hell out of little children?

What's wrong with goth? It's not my style but it's not exactly uncommon.

Also blue hair = win.

That's basically what I was trying to say - I just prefer dependance to addiction. Sounds less dirty.

I don't want to completely cut it off - it's not like it's killing me - I'm just trying to cut back. However, whenever I try, something comes up and I need my fix. Damn I wish I still had my Adderall...

Hey, I drink 2 sodas a day, myself :)

It's worse to drink tea, though. That has almost as much caffeine as coffee.

Caffeine's a hell of a durg :O

Ugh! fck.
I hate it when peple mistake me for an eff-ing Emo.
If I had to be put into a group, it would be way more punk than Emo.
In fact no Emo at all.

Personally I thought rave punk :x
Not rave as in let's take X and pretend we can dance, but rather the anarchistic subgenre of punk guitar driven new wave.
Well I've never been to a rave, but I assume very fun. A few people say I look New Wave Indie Punk, that's three genres in one! :x
Still I really don't like to stick too many labels.
