Ebhz, if your main and only gripe with the concept is that Pokémon are normaly typified by being 'cute', well that's partially subjective, and partially down to art style and representation.
There are as many scary, meanacing, and disturbing Pokémon as there are visually cute ones. For Pokémon like Spiritomb, Sableye, and Dusknoir the meanacing tone is obvious. Others, like Spearow (who'll swarm any and every threat without remorse), Drifloon/Hypno (Who capture small children), and Aron (Will eat whole houses if not kept in check) are meanacing from a flavouring point of view.
That's ignoring the huge piles of fanart that exist depicting Pokémon in grim and scary ways. The Pokémon in this imagining are oft depicted as wild or feral over cute. There are infallibly cute and docile Pokémon existing, but they're also extremely rare.
We will take the point about you not being given enough story to work with to heart; and discuss with the rest of the team how much of the story we'll agree to post in one go.
Off-hand, isn't it a little unfair to claim we refuse to change on all matters, when really only one thing has asked to be changed - and the one thing we pretty much only won't change. As I say, we're more receptive to alter other aspects that don't define the game as a whole.
