r-r-recap time!!
alright, here is a quick recap of what's happened so far in the story: (not including personal character stuff, just the main plot points)
-lewis was waiting in his apartment for everybody to show up. once everybody showed up, he planned on explaining the details of the expedition and the things they needed to do to get there.
-things got complicated when sheryl drew the attention of a police officer on the street. the officer followed sheryl up to lewis' apartment, around the same time as luke and tech got there.
-sheryl knocked the inexperienced officer unconscious just as cecile and michael arrived.
-lewis, sheryl, luke, tech, cecile and michael stood in the apartment for a little bit, debating what to do about the unconscious officer. petrus enterered at this time. lewis got the idea of heading to the roof of the apartment, and led everybody else up.
-they proceeded to cross an interstreet bridge called corridor 56. felix somehow gets past the police barricade in lewis' apartment and joins the rest of the group on the bridge. matt shows up at lewis' apartment and sees the rest of the group crossing the bridge. when he tries to join them, he starts to get followed by police officers.
-the police start shooting at the group and in the process, the bridge's structural integrity begins to weaken. a grenade creates a crack which eventually causes the whole bridge to be destroyed. sheryl falls onto a roof on the other side of the street.
-sheryl gets the attention of luke and he jumps down to where she is on the roof. meanwhile, matt uses a glider to fly over to sheryl. tech jumps on and joins him. everybody else makes it down.
