Dead Content Omnisia [Puzzle RPG- v1.6!]

Dead content awaiting restoration.
Hmm, seems like there were a couple of things I overlooked. They're nothing major or game-crashing though, so I think I'll just leave them in. Thanks for all your feedback, I even learned a thing or two just going back and looking at what I did for this game.

Your welcome. There were some kick ass things in the game. But I must know. When you go north of Recuerdo, it's the meeting place. You go right, the music gets all cool. BUT THERE IS NOTHING! Why is that map all cool music?

You mean the 3 boulder switch puzzle in the Aypi Caves, right? That one's a little tricky. Rather than pushing the rocks at random, try sitting back and figuring it out in your mind before you start pressing keys.

To get a boulder to stop on the switch, you need another boulder one tile away from it, right? Push the bottom left boulder right, then up-- now it should be one tile to the right of the switch. That means you need to get a boulder to the center of the left side. Try working backwards and see if you can figure it out from here.

Thought I would try this and it ain't to bad, a fair few bugs but the gameplay is fun. The mirror puzzle could have been a tad more difficult but meh anyway I have a small diffiulty:

After getting Neroen back (no longer party leader because little miss red head took over) and Iam told to head to the fortress I do just that. Thing is what do I do when I get to the fortress, I walk in casually, the only doors openable are to the cook and the dungeons and I can't find no hidden paths in either area. There doesn't appear to be any clues so I'm kind of lost.
Also having dead people in the city but the people in houses still living is a wee tad unrealistic but hey at least I can still accomplish all those fetch quests. ^_^

@ultimaodin: Ah yes, to continue in the fortress you need to solve something in the main room. Take a look around the ground in the upper part of the map. Do you notice anything? If you're still confused, I'll give you a better hint.

By the way, I've mentioned this before, having the secret char as the leader is just a slight glitch I overlooked, but it doesn't affect gameplay so I'm leaving her there. But about the comment about dead people, when did they appear? This might be something else I guess I overlooked.

@Mesh90: That's understandable, but unfortunately I can't access my project file right now due to technical problems. Could you provide a screenshot of the puzzle, or have someone else help you? I won't be able to provide an exact solution until I can see the map.

Push the top one left, and then play around with the rock in the bottom right corner. If you're still stuck, check the spoiler.

Push the bottom rock left, then up, then right.

Good luck!

@ambrosepro: The facesets were made by Ruruga, you can find them here.

@Mesh90: You're returning to the swamp, correct? Instead of traveling through it again, try and find a different path to take. It's at the entrance to the swamp, try and find a way south by using one of your new tools.

Wow, I just finished the game after like 4 hours, and I have to say I'm very impressed. There were a few glitches here and there, but it didn't matter. The game was fun and exciting. Some of the puzzles became sort of tedious to figure out, but oh well.

Also, I'm not sure if the whole time travel aspect was even close to accurate XD I only say that because I'm a huge time travel fan and when something doesn't fit, my brain automatically realizes it. It just breaks so many rules of time travel and changing the future kind of thing. =/ Oh well. I still enjoyed it. =D

Other than the glitch that allowed you to buy 99 of every item for almost free, I didn't find any other major glitches. =)

@Mesh90: Ah, since you can't reach the switch, you'll have to use something else that can increase the range of your nut tool. Try looking around the map. But here's the solution, if you really can't figure it out.
Throw a nut up, toward a web on a tree. It should bounce back and hit the switch (but make sure to dodge it).

@Speedpaws: Thanks for the feedback! I'll reply to some of your points.

I know some aspects of time travel weren't too accurate, but I think it worked out nicely in the end.
I hope some puzzles weren't too irritating to figure out :P Some of them just required a bit of thinking on your part, and I know they can be a little frustrating. I'm trying to go for more action-related ones in my next game.

And could you explain about that glitch that let you buy 99 of every item for "almost free"? I don't remember hearing anything about that.

Alright, well. I had 50 gold to spend. a potion costs like 35 gold or something. Even if it doesn't, just use this as an example.

So I have 50 gold. I want to buy a potion for 35 gold. I should only be able to buy 1 right? Well, I can buy 99 of them and my money just goes to 0. So I just made a huge profit because I bought 99 potions for 50 gold. Same goes with any item. As long as you at least have enough money for one of an item you want, you can buy 99 of them for the small amount of money.

I so <3 your game! I didn't think puzzle dungeons could be possible in XP, but you really did a good job with that. Not to mention it is visually pleasing. (Trust me... I've seen some blocky games as of yet, yours is high art in comparison) I was really impressed with the flooded city as well.

Hmm, never noticed that, Speedpaws. I'm guessing it's a glitch with the item limit script. Ah well, let's just hope nobody exploits it too much.

And Wolfgang, thank you for your comments. I like how the project turned out too, sometimes I'm even surprised when I look back and see everything I accomplished. I think the puzzle dungeons are nice, although the battle system is a little turn-off. I'm definitely changing that in my other project.
