My first Resources (Simpson, Halo, Ninja) (PA)

Cut him a bit of slack, guys. At least he had the balls to post his resources, no matter how new to spriting he is. We were all new, once.

No no, Samboy.  I seriously wasn't making fun of him!  I already commented up top.  If you scroll up you can see that I thought he was really good for being so new.  I really do want to use this.  I wanted to make a fun, very random game a couple months ago, and it just occurred to me that those sprites would work great!  : )  No resource should go unused.  Even if it's your first, it's got a place somewhere.

That ninja remembers me of a Flash Game Named Rollerninja, that was about a ninja using rollerskate...
The homer just need work in the legs and a bit in the arms...
The bart's skate perspective(angle) is a bit off...
And the robot, i like it, i dont find any errors in it.

Oh man that's even better than I expected, he's doing a freaking funky chicken river dance!  That is hilarious.  Dude, do not delete this sprite. :)  You may not have accomplished what you set out to do but you did something even better in the process.  Keep working on it :)  Do you mind if I use this for a forum sig somewhere?  (not here).
Sure, go ahead.
Sorry I wasn't more supportive BigPurplecow.
I myself am not a good spriter, outlines I can do, shading... no.
These could help you.

So, no one cared about the sprite at all before someone took some minutes to edit it. All of a sudden all you think it's really good? Why couldn't you have said that it was good from the beginning?

Anyway, what you really should do is to focus on one sprite to begin with. Don't work on 6 at once. Now, here's a pretty old template I've made.

Take a look on the feet and the arms. Notice how the head is moving as well. It's very common. Good luck with your updates.

And where are you getting with this? I'm going to check when I made it. :/

Edit: I'm pretty damn sure that I didn't even know what the Breeze template was when I made my old one, as I left this forum for like a year.

Edit 2: How on Earth would it look like a RESIZED Breeze template? They are almost the same size according to my eyes.

I think you answered your own question, sprites are pretty small, a few pixels can make a big difference.

Good grief! My eyes! No but seriosly, there ok for a start, but don't work from scratch bro. Use a template. And that dancing Homer is awsome! rofl

Wow I just realized this is a hot topic.  Whoot!  I am working on 1 more sprite right now.  It's a monkey.  I won't post just yet.  I did use a template too.  This one I really am workin on.  It's kinda simple and its in a cartoony style.  Not big on shading but not supposed to be.

Awesome Bro

1. Don't forget to give me credit for using my Cartoon Template.

2. The Homer is looking a little better, but the RTP guy is just, WTF, Red and Green ? Doesn't really suit him. I kinda like the Iron man your doing, although I wouldn't have chose my template for it, but meh.

Don't forget the credit bitch ! I keel you !

Um OK I'll give you credit jbrist but I found the templates on noobo's forum post thing.  Did you really make it?  I'm not doubting I just want to know.

haha no, the walking is what makes it funny!
I'm keeping the walking! Hell I might even make the sprite bigger than it already is! FTW! xD
