Most hated Video Game character

I loved ffx and didnt like tidus. You have an annoying habbit of assuming you know what people who dont agree with you are thinking enigma, and you never seem to be right.
Marcus, that'd be true if Cloud and Tidus werent exactly the same sans different outfits. Yeah, Tidus's amnesia was a little too "different" for me, k. You're wrong a lot too when it comes to knowing why people who have different tastes than you like what they like.

tidus didn't have amnesia, he was a made up entity. his memories were the collective thoughts of a god-like being. yea, haven't seen these "amnesia" games use that before.

BTW, Tidus, new CGI cloud, and Squall were all modeled after GACKT.

I've visited the FFX message boards on gamefaqs or quite a while. There have been several opinions that I've seen and most have been the laughing scene. Are you thinking I'm talking about people's opinions on this forum alone?

I think a lot of people hate Tidus just because of the laughing scene. I enjoyed Tidus' character, but even that threw me off a little.

Also, people hate FFX and can't think of a good reason so they just say Tidus sucked as a protagonist with the reason being "He's too whiney".

I loved FFX. I just hated Tidus.

I just hate him because of those shorts. Also, he is a little on the annoying side, though not that amazingly bad. I dislike Cloud's character more than Tidus'.

People dont need precise reasons to hate something. The fact that they dont like it is a perfectly reasonable excuse not to pay attention to every little thing the unlikeable character does.

It was DIFFERENT which is why I think most people find it annoying. I guess every hero needs to be dark and emo and wield a 30ft long sword to be considered "cool."

You forgot the funky hair. Every RPG hero needs hair that either defies gravity or looks like it's gonna come out of the screen and eat you.

I also hated the boss of that game... with his constant whining about how "Life is pain!"

It's not that I hated the story, I just hated the gameplay itself. I mean, I don't mind turn based without ATB, but when you can see who goes when exactly, the strategy isn't really needed, unless your doing an underlvled run, which then, it's VERY challenging. But if you lvl up, even just a little, the game becomes a peice of cake (Minus Earth Eater and Omega Weapon). In fact, by the end of the game, I killed Braska's Final Aeon with one attack from Lulu. That's sad.


Storywise, it was alright. I liked the Tidus as a character, but they should have chosen a different voice actor. His voice literally gave me a headache.

He pretty much single-handedly sparked the fashion of a life time. Crazy styled hair. It became old; fast.

I've always thought the same thing. I never understood how Cloud became such a famous character when his original uniform was PURPLE. Everytime I saw him I was reminded of Purple the ninja from Dragon Ball. Even when Advent Children and the whole "new CGI cloud" came out, I still never dropped the purple image from my head and reminded everyone I could about it.

Every other soldier wore blue and I think Zack wore grey and black. Cloud must have been really secure in his masculinity.

Flies are hard to hit with your hand because they jump backwards approximately an inch when taking off. If they didn't do that it'd be much easier to hit a fly with your hand.

What the hell??? Kairi from KH's?!?!? what did she ever do wrong??? anyways I would have to say Fat Joe or Crack from Def Jam Fight for NY. Pissed me off severly with his crap . Oh yeah and that one guy from DMC3 who was Lady or whatever her name was father. GAY!!! is all I can say about him -_-...a waste of poly-gons
