I've finally jumped on the Arc bandwagon and I've got to say that you two definitely have a talent for frustrating the hell out of me; but that just means that your puzzles are doing their job:D Your game is the very first rmxp game that had me swearing at my screen. I swear that the bat/timer puzzles were designed to drive people to violence.
But enough fun, I'm really enjoying your game. Your puzzle and dungeon designs are well-thought out and well-executed. Your battles are challenging but satisfying. You both have wonderful game-making skills and it shows!
All right, here are a couple of my gripes:
- In the area with the mine cart and switches, there are too many random battles, especially if you're trying to follow all the different tracks to figure out which switches to activate.
- Some of the puzzles are not very logical and seem to rely on luck or process of elimination. I'll never understand the number/switch one in the mines. I hate to admit it, but I cheated.
- The relationship between Cade and Emma seems underdeveloped and a little immature. I just felt something was lacking.
Overall, your project is entertaining, stimulating and yes, a bit frustrating. But that's just because I'm not a big puzzle person. I've really enjoyed what I have played so far and I'm looking forward to delving deeper into your story.
