The HKCP is awesome, therefore I'm going to try and participate. I had a spriting topic before, but I'm going to use this exclusively for getting input on HKCP resources. Please please please give me any comments and crits on what I put here, I'm tough, you won't hurt my feelings and I promise I'll try to not get a big head if I get compliments. :tongue:

Please do not use these resources until they have been completed and put into the HKCP. They WILL BE FREE USE (with credit), But not until I iron the kinks out of each and it's in the HKCP.

A nice little bun, nothing too extravagant, I hope good for a variety of NPCs.

And here are some accessories I whipped up to go with it!

A royal type (or at least rich looking) hair stick with dangling chains and jewels

A cloth bun cover for Middle to lower class galls who need to tame that mane! The Tie ribbons sway with walk animation, and the tie and cloth cover can be used independently of one-another!



There it is so far! Let the picking apart begin! (I hope)

I love the bun! I didn't take it into paint and scrutinize it but looks great from here. I especially love that you did your own accessories! If I had one thing to suggest it would be that on you might want to put a bit more movement into the little pieces that hang down. Which really isn't necessary but if you wished to do more work on it, it's something you could do.

It's very nice! I really like the accessories, this will be a good addition to the HKCP.

As for a bit of critique, only a couple things really stood out to me. There isn't any movement on the hair at all. For a tight bun that's fine, but the hair hanging down by her face should move at least a little, especially if it's touching her shoulders. The other thing I noticed is that it looks... clumpy. I think there should be more strands to it, especially on the back. One last thing I just noticed, sorry: the curves on the back look strange, as if you're trying to show some kind of part down the middle of the hair. There shouldn't be a part on that kind of hairstyle.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a nitpick. If I'm being too nitpicky, feel free to ignore me. It's great, and I'm looking forward to it joining the HKCP library!  :smile:

Okay! Worked a bit on the motion of the hair, haven't yet gotten to fixing the back view, but plan on it.  I also worked out a little bikini! Tricky little bugger for some reason. Please please let me know what needs to be changed so I can add skin shading and make an alternate version (striped!)

God. Should I say something? It looks uber nice! Terrific!  :thumb:  I really like the bikini. Brings out the best of her  :lol: this joke was so stupid I can't believe I said it. Anyway, I wanna see more. The hair looks really good, in the back view you can see great detail. Nice  :tongue2:
