I am new to the whole game making thing, as I am mainly a composer and writer. Does RMVX have the capability to support real-time fighting? If so, I am looking to create a specific battling system that enables spells in the form of in-battle music to be intricately interactive. For instance, a quick combination of keystrokes executed at the right time during a musical spell would result in the battling sonata to become more complete and as a result would increase the effectiveness of the spell. Physical attacks would also play a part with following the flow of a musical spell piece. My vision is to closely intertwine fast-paced action mixed with musically-themed platform. Could anyone tell me if this is even possible?
