Alas, thats a worry I share. Since the summer I've been trying to sort it out and change the story to allow him to be a more likable person early in the game so the player isnt immediately switched off, but I cant do that without destroying the reason why Marcus wants to get rid of him in the first place. Its a toughie! In the meantime, I've posted again to explain that while Invisus is by no means dead, it is struggling to find its place in the world and so I've laid off actually making the thing to sort out the story. I expect its going to have to changed a fair amount, but any information I can spare I'll be sure to tell you guys about. Also, I intend to update the first post soon with some fairly massive updates. Look out for it!Shifty":2p7iasbk said:My only concern is that I find it hard to relate to John.
Thanks for your comments - Utopia, I thought, fit fairly well. Its referring to Marcus' vision of the Earth. Its more of a name for the first demo - seeing as its Utopian compared to the utter chaos experienced in the later sections of the game. I have been thinking of changing it to Invisus: Retribution, though, to refer to Johns initial mission of revenge, to restore the way of life he enjoys. Or, hell, I could just get rid of the subtitle maybe thats best actually...availer":gutwdatz said:Interesting story, and pretty good screenshots. But I think you need to revise the meaning of Utopia. But my main concerns are the mapping and gameplay.
