Good work!!
Your tilesets don't have anything to envy to the original RTP Tilesets.
Bye's!

P.D.: Sorry for my bad english...

This is excellent. You put my modest tilesetting work to shame.
I feel strangely compelled to switch the style of my game to RTP just so I can use this, and that's saying something.

Amazing,

also, I come to find out that the white ties characters looks alot better to your tilset then the RTP ones.

Its funny how this is no longer a resource analysis post but more of a congratulation post. Hahaha either way ace stuff mate!

BUT I do have a complaint to make [[OMG]] and yes before anyone bashes me or w/e hear me out. Its more of a perspective thing more than anything. But isn't the perspective on the table umbrellas like way off? As well as the barrels being hella large [[they're almost as big if not as big as the RTP]]

But other than those minor complaints this shiz is awesome. Hands down. Still loving the colors on the tents as well. Hahahaha

Thanks for the positive feedback, guys. It's always a good boost and motivator for doing another tileset. Of course, I probably won't reply to all of the individual congratulations, so I'll just go with the more specific quotes. :)

What kind of character sets do you recommend for this? Obviously they have to be RTP size, but RTP doesn't quite match the style. :x

None but the RTP, I'm afraid. There's none available. However, perhaps if everybody asks Showkaizer nicely, he might be pursuaded to lend a helping hand... :) Characters ever so slightly bigger than the RTP should do the trick. More or less the same general proportions (although less manga-like!) and viewpoint of the characters would be suitable.

Man imagine all of those X's and O's you have to put...

Yep. Imagine that. Before anybody asks as well, I will not be setting the passability and stuff up though. :D

Can we expect any other types of tilesets from you? Maybe dungeons and such?

Caves would be next on the list. However, I'm into my final year of university now, so I'm going to have to take a year long break away from any major pixel work. Next time I'll be working on a set will be next summer and even then if I get a job, it'll not be a great deal of work done. Unfortunately, available time is just going downhill these days.

One thing... I just LOVE the pinguin. It's the best part of the entire tileset

You may find him hiding in other places and on the indoor set as well!

Your work puts me to shame, sir.

Yours looks rather promising from where I'm sitting. Some bits need tweaking and perfecting, as on your set it looks a little inconsistent in quality.

now wheres that waterfall?

It's in the .rar file as a characterset. Whoopsidoodle, I forgot to do a grey stone cliff version of the waterfall though. That was a bit sloppy.

I never really liked those white ties graphics.

But isn't the perspective on the table umbrellas like way off? As well as the barrels being hella large [[they're almost as big if not as big as the RTP]]

I don't agree about the umbrellas over the tables, I think they look just right. Same perspective and what not. There are mistakes all over the set though, of course, but they're not enough to ruin the set I don't think. The windows are too large, the building circular turrets are slightly out of perspective, but it's hard to notice. The barrels are rather large, but then again so are quite a few things. They could be large novelty barrels. :D It doesn't really matter, I don't think.

@Buster: I swear you post that like everytime you post something. Hahahaha or maybe I'm just crazy.

Either way Inq! Gotta get a modern one going or something. I'm pretty sure more than enough people have hoped for a modern tileset or something of that nature. or whats next for you?

The set is awesome, but I have to say that I feel some things are.. missing. Like Snow variations of the trees and houses, etc.. Oh, i also missed 'palm trees' and desert-like houses.

(Please don't get me wrong, it's just my opinion.) :)

But it's an amazing tileset, keep it up. ^^

>_> It's a medieval-type tileset; I don't think he was going for it to be a be-all and end-all tileset with every terrain, weather pattern, and time-setting in it ...

There will be no such thing, Ing has stated he has finished what he set out to do, and that was to make another option for RmXP aside from the RTP, and I personally think he has done an outstanding job. Not that if he did do a futuristic tile it would undoubtedly be great.^_^
