A bit of German and French. Enough Latin and Hebrew to get by, and enough Arabic to know what insults Hizb ut-Tahrir members are directing at me! >_> And also grab the jist of Arabic articles...like the Latin and Hebrew. :|

I don't know any English at all. It's a complete mystery to me.

Wow, that's the first time I've seen someone call it "American". It's English.

I speak fluent English and French,
I code fluent xHTML and CSS,
I code poor Ruby.

I have been studying Japanese for ... forever. x.o; I still don't feel as if I am competent in the language in any way shape or form but ahh .. gotta keep trying.

They were implying that they were American so they speak English. >_>;

My native language is Czech
I can speak English very well (or at least so I think...)
I study French (not very good at it yet, if I hear a native speaker, I understand less than half of the words)
I used to study German, but I stopped four years ago and now I remember only the basics (like "ich bin" = "I am")
I can code C++, Delphi/Pascal, Java and HTML and I'm trying to learn some Ruby
Oh, and I can speak Slovak as well, because it's very similar to Czech, with only small differencies

My native languages are English and Japanese; but I've studied Spanish, Korean, and Mandarin while in school and through travels.  My abilities in the latter rise and fall depending on how much practice I get :)

English. Don't care about learning other languages. That's what translators are for (and besides, I don't plan on leaving my country any time soon).

I know some spanish, though. And some japanese, but nothing but basic phrases or nouns.

Eh, the ones that are still spoken-

English, German, Spanish, Norweigan, Swedish, Danish, Dutch, and Icelandic (most of them spoken not at expert level, but at a 'okay' level.)

And a couple that don't exist-

Old Norse, Elfish.

? Old Norse is real, it's just a dead language. Elfish, on the other hand....I assume you mean Tolkien elvish? Not real, but funny that you know it nonetheless.
