but i really hate puff sleeves. and yeah the last one is super shapeless and oldpeopley.

it's hard to find high-necked dresses in the summer, though ...

may i ask: why dresses?

i hate wearing dresses, myself. i've worn probably 10 in my whole life.

I dunno about that dress looking grandmotherly... because every old woman I know of where's some kind of slacks and ked shoes.

As for the initial questions on the topic...

What kind of makeup do you prefer?
I don't wear any makeup. I've tried. Every time I try to put anything on, I look like a little girl that got into mommy's makeup. My face is way too childish for it. ^.^

How do you typically dress?
In highschool I had a big gothic phase and wore a lot of black fishnet things as well as those bulky bracelets and belts. I even had a purple gothic schoolgirl skirt with a bunch of belts and chains. It was cool at the time. ^^ Now I just wear a lot of jeans and shirts. The shirts usually have some over the top cute drawing and saying on them.

Where do you getcher clothes?
Hottopic (yeah I don't care!) or Loyal Army. Though now that I live in Germany I have yet to go shopping for very many clothes...so I don't have a place yet, but there was one store that had adorable bunnies with nerd glasses on the front that I got...

What's your skin/hair routine?
I straighten it. It's naturally curly and icky but some people say they like it. It's alright that way but I do the whole blow-dry then straighten most of the time. If I'm feeling lazy I leave it curly...but it makes me feel like Shirley Temple :<

I love dresses. I think they're the pinnacle of women fashion, such as tuxedos and suits for men. It highlights the female curved figure.
well yes obviously, i mean for everyday wear.

i find dresses and skirts horrendously uncomfortable and difficult. even feeling the teeniest bit of stubble on my legs makes me shudder (and it is like IMPOSSIBLE to truly get ALL of it, and SUPER ANNOYING/bad for skin to shave every god damned day). knowing that an errant wind at any moment could show off more than i'd ever like in public is a constant worry. i spend most of my time in leather/non-porous computer chairs and only really long skirts circumvent the inevitable thigh-meets-leather-sweat-and/or-skin-impressions. dresses never look right if i wear them with anything but heels, and heels are uncomfortable as fuck. i am WAY too neurotic to deny the constant sneaking suspicion that someone is getting an upskirt view of me in any crowded area, on stairs, or on a deck/wooden platform. i only have the options of sitting with tightly-crossed legs or holding my legs together tightly while sitting down, which isn't comfy either.

ulgh i really hate wearing skirts & dresses. they are awful

oh god tights & pantyhose -- the banes of feminine existence IMO! how can you stand them?

like they're not terribly uncomfortable once you get them on but the hard part is in getting them on! if i have to fuss with a single article of clothing for more than 5 minutes just to wear it, and i'm not going to something fancy or costumed, it's not worth wearing.

then after you finally get the fuckers on, you have to be mindful of shit like bending your knees too severely or scratching your leg or brushing against anything, b/c runs and catches and holes can happen at any time.

and if you're wearing strappy heels, everything catches and snags on the fabric, and you have to hide the toe seams by putting them under your feet/walking on them all day, and your foot never really "catches" on the sole of the shoe, so it just sort of slides around and you get caught off-balance sometimes (in shoes where you have to constantly balance yourself).

like colorful tights are more resilient than nylon hose but frays and snags and runs still happen and then it's like "WELP that was $6-$10 well-spent"

[it should come as no surprise by now that 99% of my outfits consist of cotton shirts & jeans with sneakers]

I've worn a miniskirt once in my life. I don't see how women can enjoy having that little piece of clothing touching the top of their thighs. If it comes to that point, you might as well wear a speedo or underwear type piece. That would be much more comfortable.

Actual skirts aren't so bad. We men have manly kilts though, so that may be why.

when you're trying to dye your hair lighter than the color you have already dyed it, you have to either:

a.) strip the color using a haircolor stripper (note: bad for your hair; makes it rather brittle)

b.) buy 2 different colors: 1 optimal color for your roots only, and 1 color that is several shades lighter than your optimal color for the rest of the already-dyed hair. the 2nd dye MUST have bleach/lightening agents in it.

otherwise you're just adding pigment to pigment, which will either do nothing, or will make it darker.
