Looks better man, the hair on his forehead (middle) just needs a taaad more work because the shape is a bit messy.
Like you could not decide which way to go
, here are some options i conjured up for this part.
For the hair, the light hits somewhere from the top left, so just use the shading on that side to round out the head mainly, always try to avoid pillow shading, you can see what i mean by looking at the example heads.
For gloves and such a straight line across (like you made) is good because the wrist of the template is so thin there's no way to draw a curve line, what you do here -sometimes- is stick a lighter shade (or two or three depending on the length) in the center area of the line to soften it, this also creates the illusion of curving a bit.
Think of this a lot when working on smaller sprites, try to create some magic using light and dark shading tricks :D

I removed all the others a while back, i will create a zip file containing them all soon though.
