I was just lucky on my project. I hope it does pick up again. I need something for a little bit of competition
I've stated this before in past conversations. What the hell is the point of having a competition over making a game?
If it was like Sony Vs. Nintendo, yes I could see a competition, a competition for the market, and humans just so happen to be the consumers of this market.
Why do you need competition, do you not have enough confidence in your self that you must feed off of others games or projects to satisfy your urge to be "Ahead of the Curve" so to speak? It doesn't make sense to me. I'm glad I am not in competition with you because I have better things to do with my time, like actually working on my project and getting things done. I also feel sorry for G-man who has to deal with all these people complaining about a joke, many people doubt their projects, many people start them thinking it is easy... truth is, everything seen on this forum for great looking games, is easier seen/said, than done... it takes a lot of hard work, sometimes people misjudge that, and then again, there is a thing called sarcasm, G-man was being sarcastic when he said he was quitting the project, why, cause he had not had updates in a while and was actually working on it instead of buzzing around on the forums.
Now, please stop pestering him about it and trolling up his thread, let bygones be bygones. Next person I see post something about I am going to report, I am tired of seeing this stuff on the forums, it is pointless and unnecessary.
Ontopic:
I am glad you were only joking, losing internet, cost you dearly, even me a few years ago got grounded, but I managed to cope and continue to work on the game outside of the community and internet, still managed to speak with team members, and learned to do a few things like spriting and such my self, it is good to take that "off" time to learn new things like that.
Good luck with your project.
