Games you would like to see remade.

What games would you like to see remade and on what platform?

I'd like a Wii copy of Final Fantasy IX, but that would never happen and if it did Nintendo would probably find some way to incorperate Mii's into it.

Pokémon Snap 2 for the Wii. The camera controls with the Wiimote would be amazing, and now imagine how amazing it could be if it used all the variety of 500 monsters.

Although I suppose that would technically be a sequel.

I want Chrono Trigger. Square already "cease-and-desist"'d some people who were remaking it for the GameCube though, so it's highly unlikely it'll ever happen

I just thought of two games that I'd love to be remade.

Silent Hill 2 (SH5 engine)-This would be ecstacy with dabs of cocaine and a hint of weed for me  :shock: Even if it was PS3 exclusive, I'd totally get it.

Disgaea-The game is crazy enough as it is, but one of it's main highlights was that the attacks looked great. Now imagine those badass attacks, but with an insane graphics system. For my reaction, read above.

I gotta' agree the most with Pokemon Gold/Silver. This game truly defined the series for me as it was one of the first games I played over and over and over... etc. I was truly dissapointed with the follow-up of Sapphire/Ruby, but that's just my opinion.

Also I would love to all the original Sonic games (Sonic 1,2,3, & Knuckles) remade in 2.5D graphics. Same story, no new charactersm just new graphics.

Although they would ruin most games, I do feel that Parasite Eve needs to be remade, and if it were remade it would be a very good game. Originally the game was a celebration of great graphics, and now that we have next gen ...

I am also interested in seeing RE2 remade, but I am confident they would ruin Leon's character again, opt for RE4 gameplay (doesn't belong in RE2), among other things.

^Agreed on the Parasite Eve Remake.

That aside, a remake of Suikoden 1 & 2 would be nice. The new Suikoden graphics are by no means anything spectacular, but the quality in 5 did the job. I could think of different mechanics for 2 as well- they could add a Trinity Sight system, a la Suikoden 3, featuring the PoVs of both Riou and Jowy, and for good measure, Nash to give English- speaking fans a taste of the Suikogaiden series that never made it stateside.

As far as FF's go, 7's probably a given, and probably only a matter of time before it actually happens. They're making a DS remake of 4, I want that (Too bad I don't have a DS.). Maybe a remake of 9. Of all FFs before 12, 9 had the most diverse looking world and it'd probably look even better with improved graphics. And a different skill learning system. The original one was </3.

What else, what else. Oh. Persona 2. The battle system bothers me to no end. If it were more like P3 or Nocturne it'd have been more bearable.

Final Fantasies 3-9, remade on the PS3 with modern 3D graphics, storytelling, and a better translation (especially for 4, 5, and 7).
SE could also listen to their fans and remake Chrono Trigger, too.

Anyway I was referring to the whole way austere GF memory erasing ability. I didn't remember junctioning that ability.
