OK silliepieguy, you are next....got yer dl! thanks, gonna go play it now...will return with words of wisdom to encourage yer craft, he,he (just an excuse to goof off somemore)

ya have a penchant for long skinny paths, don't cha? I feel like a model on a runway...ha,ha! (don't try peekin' up my skirt from beneath those clouds and that bridge, now), still strollin' along....

Well, HI! killed all the mushrooms, and got Glow a Lvl.1 Heavy phys., and can't equip it? what did I do wrong? it's in my item menu......gonna go buy weapons instead now.....

and ya are a silly guy, that world map is soooo goofy!

is Glow Daiman's little brother, turned into an imp? just guessin'......

when ya enter the inn at garesh, ya wind up standing on top of a guy in bed, instead of comin' in the front door..he,he

Yeah, only certain characters can use certain types of armor, but they can all equip any level. I'm not sure if it's the same in that demo (because I did change what some characters can equip since that demo), but I THINK Glow can only equip Light and Medium Physical Defense Gems. I think he can also equip all Magic and Evasion Gems (Light, Medium, or Heavy).

For someone who talks so crazy, you sure are smart and perceptive...that's all I'll say about your question ;)

I just looked and apparently I already fixed that Inn thing. That is kind of awkward to appear on top of a guy in bed haha. I really appreciate the bug report btw.

And if everything goes how I want it, I should have a crafting system in the final game where:

1. You can choose which level of Gems you want to make so that the interface is more clean and not so cluttered.

2. You can see who can equip the item you're making.

3. You can turn the monster spoils into Essences from a crafting menu so you don't have to do it through the item menu (which gets VERY annoying, I know).

4. You can disassemble Defense Gems to get back all the Essences you used (but you would lose the Empty Gem that was used in the process).

So I'm not sure if I WILL be able to get all that, but I think SephirothSpawn said he is doing a Crafting script that might be able to help me out.

got to the 'to be continued'.....

bat villian silas turns into horned villian....I would never make a deal with a monster....man are they gonna get in trouble or what??!!

Ah okay. Yeah, I'm like 5 Gates in now. That basically means about 5 dungeons complete, with towns and small stuff in between.

I have to be honest, the game sort of goes downhill once you start going to the Gates. It's a lot of just jumping from dungeon to dungeon without much going on in between. Sorry lol. That's one thing that will change in my next project.

And my next project won't necessarily be Lucid Awakening 2...I'm almost positive it won't be actually. But I DO have plans for a sequel, I'm just not sure if I'd ever get around to doing it.

gotta story in mind for yer new project? I posted a partial plot for the Seven Tales of Schet Pegasi in recruitment, if ya are interested in just playin' around and havin' fun....

Sorry, I am already planning for my next game, and it's going to be made with RPG Maker VX...so in other words I'm planning like 3 months ahead haha, so yeah.

Also I am getting a lot of my fellow nerds (friends in real life, not online) who love anime and RPG's to help with story, characters, quests, skills, etc.

As for my next demo, I want to wait until I have the complete crafting system and skill board system in place. So basically the only thing that the release date of an almost finished demo is dependent on, is when SephirothSpawn will finish both of those scripts that I need. And we all know how busy he is...so maybe like early next year?

I got to play like an hour of it, and think its pretty good...set up really well.

But walking in the swamp killed me when the frogs kept blocking the path, there was a lot of dialogue, not much action....

I liked the BGM's, and the little slider town name location display on the screen.

Nice work man.

Thank you ^_^.

The town name thing isn't there anymore btw. Sorry.

The toads were too hard? There's been a lot of readjusting of stats and stuff since then, so hopefully in the next version it won't be so hard. One major change is that I decreased the amount needed to level up by a lot, so it should be easier.

Sorry about all the dialogue...it's a very complicated storyline, it's hard to have a complex story like that without a lot of dialogue, so yeah.

Once you start sealing the Gates, it's a little drastic (too drastic...one of the downfalls of my game) with how much more the game is just going from Gate to Gate without much dialogue. So you'll probably like the main portion of my game better.

What is in the demo that is currently out is basically just the intro leading up to the main "meat" of the game...a very, very long intro lol.

No, I couldn't fight the toads in the swamp at all. But sometimes they would jump in the path, and where it was only a tile wide, they would sit there and I couldn't push them out of the way, I had to either run off screen or wait for them to move.

Yeah a lot of dialogue, I think in the first hour there were 2 fights.

Yeah, really annoying...

Hey, I just played the demo, and all I have to say is; "It was awesome!" I especially loved the inventory and shops. Great job man! There were, however, some "bugs"-

[spolier=Caution, May Contain Spoilers!]The big one was on the sky bridge... thingy... You can just walk right off of it onto the panaorama. Another one was in the garden of the castle you could walk on the water were the shadow of the tree overlapped it on the layer above. When your are in Tarnesch Castle, ( anyone of the corridors ) if you go to the skill tree menu with anyone of the characters, then go back to the dungeon, the screen isn't grey-ed anymore. There were also a few grammaticle errors, nothing of real concern, but if you want me to point them out, pm me . ( I really didn't pay much attention to them, just kinda made a mental note.)That's pretty much it, once again, Great Game man!! [/spoiler]

(P.S.) If I did the spoiler tag wrong, I am terribly sorry, I am new here and just getting used to the controls :D

Thank you ^_^.

The bridge has been fixed since the last demo.

I dunno what to do about the shadow making the water walkable...since it doesn't affect the game in any way I'm not really too worried about it.

I'm aware of the thing in Tarnesch castle. With how the skill menu actually works (using teleporting...the skill menu is actually a map), there's not really any way to fix that. I am TRYING to get a new script-based Skill Tree system, so it might be fixed when I get that going.

Sorry about the grammatical errors. I have OCD so I have probably fixed quite a few of them by now :) Once I release a new demo THEN let me know about the errors. Cuz I don't want you to have to go through the trouble of pointing them all out to me and then it turns out they're already fixed lol.

Just edit your post and and fix how you spelled "spoiler". You spelled it "spolier" in the opening spoiler tag. But really, none of them are spoilers so you could even just take off the spoiler tags if you wanted.

I really do appreciate the fact that you were considerate enough to put spoiler tags though.

I'm considering changing the battle system to a Turn Based Battle System.  Like Super Mario RPG where it is turn based, but each player has their own turn.  What do you all think?

Even though it really doesn't change the way the game is, to fix the water where the tree shadow overlaps it, just make an event. On action key, direction fix. That way you can't get past it. :)

(By the way, if you would like any help, I am a huge story writer so I could help you. Not saying that you NEED help. But... I am just making the offer :D .)

Okay, I'm too lazy to do that though lol.  If it REALLY bothers someone that much let me know and I'll fix it haha.

Thx for the offer, but I have the rest of the story laid out basically.  And yes, I actually could do a lot better with my story, don't lie to me lol.  There are a lot of problems with my story...but I won't mention that cuz it's probably just like really deep details that you would REALLY have to read into the story to get.  But if I don't bring up the things I know are wrong with my story development, maybe no one will notice lol.
