Try spending more in the region of 500, for real recordings!

I use Eastwest Symphonic orchestra, its all real instruments! I just use guitar pro to do the actual recording is all!

Trust me, you midi sounds ten times better than mine!

I like your orchestral stuff - the intro in particular. As for constructive criticism, I think in the intro, there were a few places where your plucked string melody seemed a bit off key, I think it's at 0:26, possibly because it might be 2 strings being plucked and one of them may be off. Also, I think that you may want to look into manipulating volume a bit on each instrument, such as in The Calm, The Battle, The End, where the strings seemed to stop a bit too fast in my opinion (nothing wrong with stopping fast, but to me a bit of a resonating fade might sound better, particularly on strings).  You're on the right track though, keep at it!

I will be sorting out all dynamics and such when I redo all my pieces out in Finale, see I was using Guitar pro which really restricted me but was the best I could do at the time, your works an inspiration to me though, the fact you can get such a realistic sound from symphonic orchestra! Thanks for listening, do you have msn? Would be good to actually talk to a composer as I don't really know any [except my EX music teacher but I have not been in touch with him for a long time!]

Sound great Gilleece, Penance is definitely the most full sounding out of all those, I like it a lot.  Just a suggestion for "I'm Home," I like how the acoustic guitar is giving off that home sweet home feel, but maybe add some strings and/or pizzicato strings to really make it serene.  Just a suggestion  :blush:

Well, none in particular, I'm just writing music here and there.  I plan on buy EWQL Gold Bundle sometime this year...probably with my tax rebate.  I've got the music writing down...just no real means of making it sound as good as it can be.  You know what I mean?  After listening to zephstudio's songs I can settle for nothing less than that quality!

I use silver, best I could afford, keep checking the Eastwest site, supposely they are doing a bundle or gold, symphonic choir, and some others all for like 600 or 700 [and considering each alone costs around that much its a huge bargain!]
