Fire Emblem: Immortal Sword

New demo video of the prologue. We're also working on getting a new playable demo up, after some minor fixes.
 
Above all, even the systems itself, I love the attack animations of all the characters. The apprentices, the soldier promotion attack(whose critical looked just a bit gaudy right before the actual crit hit), the look of those soldiers sprites on the map, it makes it look like the professional games that went over and beyond. the later gba FEs basically build on the EXACT same graphics as the previous ones, but you actually did them better.
The drifter attack animation looks considerably amateurish, even for a lower ranking class.

Maybe you've got some stat balancing to do and other misc stuff; I'm sure you know all the stuff still to be done.

Awesome job that it ain't trashed.

This project is really great! I'm a big fan of Fire Emblem, I'll check it out for sure. I have a blog where I share some Indie Games, this will be there for sure! ;)

The new demo is out! Go up to the first post for it :O

In regards to the resolution, we actually implemented a zoom type function because people kept whining. By default it's at 2x resolution, you can change it by changing the number in the config.ini.
 
I'm playing the demo now and this is absolutely amazing, thinking about this game being finished really makes me excited. Hope you're doing well!
 
Updated the new demo, should be FAR less laggy now. Also some adjustments to controls, so they can be edited from the F1 menu again, but aren't set up by default anymore.

Not much added in terms of gameplay, but this is a substantial update: Face sprites, battle sprites, a script, and class skills, as well as the class reel when you sit on the title screen (definitely watch it at least once o: ), plus anything else I've forgotten

Man, I wish I was an FE fan. This has to be the most true-to-the-series fangame I've seen for an RPG Maker, like Poccil's Pokemon Start Kit.

Alright, I have something of a solution for lag problems.

This is an extremely experimental release, but everything should be working. I added the ability to change the frame rate; if you're having trouble with lag, try the new version. Mostly everything is sped up when the frame rate lowers so the end result is similar to the full speed version, but it's easier to runs since less is processed over time.
