Fire Emblem: Immortal Sword

A small update is out that fixes the Trial Map 1 ending, balances the enemy strengths some, and adds an actual title screen (as well as other additions to pretty things up).

In addition, Magnus now starts as a Shaman and is several times more useful, he's become one of my favorite characters in the demo.

The FE7x site has received a major revamp courtesy of our webmaster, chrislee149. The new look is very nice.

Also, we have a booth at the online Nintendo Community Fangame Convention, so check that out and be sure to give us a rating to show your support! Check out the other games being shown too, there are a lot of impressive entries.

How did I miss posting the last demo.

Anyway.

So there's an entire new map new, Trial Map 2. New classes, chests, Thieves, recruitment, support bonuses, an Arena, a Secret Shop, and veteran enemies that won't go down without a fight.
And probably a million other things since it's been 5 months since my last post :M

The update to it just today completed the battle animations needed for this map, and added a large portion of the dialogue, and face sprites to go with it. It's still not fully done story-wise, but it is entirely playable now.

So go try it out
 
All the REALLY demanding stuff (pathfinding/attack ranges, manipulating bitmap colors) is done with C dlls, which makes things a ton faster. But even on top of that I've had to do tons of optimizations in Ruby too.
 
Oh man, thanks for bumping this and reminding me of one of my favourite artists and games. This was great back in the day. I think I might have grovelled over bwdyeti a bit too much.
