Final Fantasy XIII.... on the XBox 360

Looking at pretty much any sales figures would show you that the the 360 is NOT doing better than the PS3, currently, in any way but cumulative sales, something that the PS3 is slowly but surely catching up to. From a global perspective, PS3 has been outselling the 360 since December, and has even been outselling it in the US recently

Like I said, I don't think this announcement is going to do anything for this, especially with GoW 3 announced.

i agree. 360 has been doing the worse in 2008. Out of all the Gaming systems out its in last place in sales this year. FOR GOD SAKES THE PS2 is outselling it! Also for the month of june PS3 sold 2 times as much as 360

Haha and ironically the DS shits all over any console sales and is followed by the wii.

On topic though im happy no matter what platform the damn thing is put on as long as its a decent game. All this cross platform crap is worthless if the game itself is shit.

Sony isn't losing that much. FF13 is coming for ps3 in japan because ps3 sells in japan.

In the U.S, from what I understand, the ps3 cant hold a candle to the 360 (I own neither so dont judge) so square is simply putting there game on a system that sells better.
dont see why to hate em for it. Just "good bussiness".


er... and I think I'll get around to buying a 360 this year. Way too many good games coming out to miss (though I guess I'll have to miss tekken 6 and MGS4... T_T)

The 360 only has more units sold cause its been out a year longer... PS3 is catching up

Final Fantasy is considered to be treasure for xbox 360 owners, as Final fantasy is only coming out on the 360 because the ps3 has not come into full power, so be glad that xbox 360 owners get  a copy.

But even if the 360 is just tapering off, and the PS3 is just catching up - it IS catching up. The point is that the PS3 is not at all the miserable failure a lot of people make it out to be, it just had a slow start.

In some situations, this is enough to make it a failure.  While Sony is still trying to get their act together, Microsoft is coasting along and may be working on the next generation of XBox.  This has put Sony behind both Microsoft and Nintendo.  Although they're catching up, they're going to have a hard time catching up.  They're very lucky that the PS2 is still an awesome system.
