Final Fantasy XIII-2

I just... I don't even know what to say at this point. Will this game be any good. Will it suck big ass (quite probably). Will it be another run down a tunnel of death for 30 hours by which point you couldn't care less. Will there be towns. Do Final Fantasy fans like myself really care? No. We're still going to buy it no matter what kind of game it is because we've been roped in under their spell.

I just hope it's better. I really do. I had such high hopes for XIII and it let me down so badly. They know people had some major issues with XIII, I just hope they can fix those issues and give us a game worth our money.

By the way, again, I am the only FF fantard who wasn't disappointed by this game. Or 12. Or 8. Call me strange. *shrugs* I also don't care about towns that much - I always go straight to the shops. Townspeople aren't that interesting unless they give me quests. The only game with awesome NPCs to me is Lunar. That is it.

I probably won't be buying it, since I have to finish the first one first.

I wasn't disappointed by VIII but I was young. XII disappointed me as did XIII, they both could have been such great games but had fatal flaws. I prefer VIII to both of them.

So this will be like FFX-2. You changed the world in the first game so now you get to see how society adjusted. The first game didn't really leave you with unanswered questions. In FFX Tidus disappears and you can bring him back in FFX-2. It'll won't have the same effect if they do it again in FFXIII. I'll be disappointed if they follow the same formula as FFX-2, and I got a feeling they will.

By the looks of Lightning's armour, I think it's kind of set on Pulse in a post-apocalyptic world where the setting is more medieval than it's predecessor.

The amount of Sazh in the game is the only deciding factor. Not really but he's probably best-written Final Fantasy character I've ever seen, which ultimately doesn't mean a lot but he's sorta neat-o I guess??

It's funny that they can dress the female protagonist in plate mail but still find a way for her butt to be completely uncovered though!

(ps remember you guys this isn't the rec room as much as final fantasy invites a certain amount of scrutiny)

Sorry for the spam. Im just sick of SE popping out these random spurts. XIII wasnt NEARLY good enough to warrant a sequel. Apparently though, they said its gonna be better than the original in every single way. Either way, I aint buyin' it

I wasn´t expecting this. SE takes it a bit too far with spin-offs, when they should make quality games.

Petros: But, I have to say FFXII was/is a great game. That was a classic FF, although a bit different from the previous ones, with towns, good npcs, immersive world and great gameplay.

It ended a little bit too soon, and missed a few scenes to explain things in the end, but it´s still a great game,
with a lovely story and good environments.

Don´t compare the crap XIII with XII.

I really liked VIII though. That game has a really nice and meaty story.

YAY! Someone enjoyed 12 as much as me! I may be biased because I enjoy Final Fantasy Tactis/Tactics Ogre and FF12 was made by the same team.

Also, I'm surprised someone likes FFVIII. O_oa

I say SE should give another deserving game a sequel, though. Like.... Maybe... I liked their Threads of Fate game. And their Vagrant Story game. They should do something with those games!

Funnily enough I'm one of the guys that hoped for a sequel, and here we are, I'll play it regardless, since Final Fantasy XIII really did suprise me to a point that it's one of my favourite Final Fantasy games, lol...
