Original was better. Far better. Translation was better too. I think they butchered this game.

So what that they've added new classes and fused in FF12 characters?

I play on a hacked PSP and I still won't play the remake. Disgaea afternoon of darkness has FFT remake BEAT! Hands down.

Jeanne D'arc is even better than the FFT remake.

STOP BUYING VIDEO GAMES. Just hack the hell out of your hand held.
Btw, the DS is better then the PSP for one reason, FAR MORE ORIGINAL GAMES. The PSP is primarily remakes. Both hand helds are as easily hacked too. :p

well i don't know man... Final Fantasy Tactics for PSP is possible one of the best games i have ever played in my life. I've tried the original but well.... i don't know why but i couldn't get into it... i even thought Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was better then Final Fantasy Tactics(still an amazing game for the GBA)... but once I played Final Fantasy Tactics for PSP(it seems like it fits being on a handhold better) i has finally shown the light! which i know makes Andy happy >.>

The original Translation is not better than the Remake's. Why? Well it's not even a matter of personal taste the first translation was horrible because it had so many grammar, and names mess ups. The second translation while maybe to fancy for some people it aleast doesn't speak in "Engrish"..

The names weren't even consistent in the first one. Half the time, you had no idea who was being talked about because their name was different each time (Not T.G. Cid). The only thing I can say about this new translation is that it's nigh flawless, and every bit as artfully done as FFXII.

I should mention, now that I'm further - Dark Knight, and Balthier ROCK. I ALWAYS use Mustadio, until now. Balthier is just plain better. (BTW, Mustadio + Item = win).

The DS has more ports and remakes than the PSP. Two of them came out just last month (Front Mission and Hoshigami: Remix). The GBA also has more ports and remakes than the PSP and DS combined. I don't know why people forget this but you should really do research before talking out your ass.

WTF is your problem? You can't handle the new, higher quality translation? Are you 13 or something and can't read english all that well?
