Favorite Glitches in a game

The Black Hole (Melee) for me, I like putting the volume up to max just to annoy people. :p

I usually call it The Spinning Turnips of Death though, lol.

In Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, the FP Wall-Climbing Glitch was great for site seeing, and could allow you to beat the whole game without Clank.

There's one in Super Mario 64 (I think this also works in the DS version), people call it the "Raping Bully". Head on over to Hot Hot Lavaland (is this the name, I can't remember), anyways choose the star that allows you to enter the volcano the first time. Climb the obstacles until you see a Bully, and let him corner you at the wall and let him do the rest. lol

I believe you can find Youtube videos of this, if you haven't done/seen this and you have the game, go do it. Also let me know if this works on the DS if you have that version.

In the PSP version of Disgaea, there is a glitch that cuts down significantly on mind-numbing Item World specialist grinding.  Mid to late in the game you can buy the "Farsight" glasses item.  In the PSP version, there is a chance the item will have a random ~Level 10000 specialist, AND with a blue name, so you can move him off as if he were captured in the Item World.  This includes Armsmasters and Statisticians.  By exploiting this, I was able to dominate the game with a solo character in only 100 hours, instead of the usual 300+.   :wooper:
Really? I didn't know about that! I have to go check that out.

Favourite and most used:

-Medal of Honor Allied Assault (expansions only) grenade/door bug, where you could block a door, grab a grenade and trigger it, stick your arm in the other side of the door and explode it on the face of your enemies, with no damage inflicted to you.

Some others I like:
-Missingnumber aka Missingno

-Multiple hit bug in Rakion

-A bug that Rakion has that used to disconnect the whole room from the game, that is if you type ç in the chat and send it, you will see random symbols flashing instead of it and everybody's game crashes.

-LoZ: OoT Hookshot jump

-AoE Farm food refilling exploit (very useful)

-A Portal bug where you could shoot a portal behind an energy ball grabber, then go outside the map through it.

-WoW Moon walk

-Minus world

-All sorts of duping glitches (Oblivion, Kotor2, etc...)

-Half-Life 2 ragdoll glitches (some can be really funny), example:

The SwordSlashing bug in GunZ ruins the good gameplay experience it could have.

Mega Flare

Awesome Bro

FF8 had a couple glitches that made the game really easy. Such as junctioning the same spell to multiple stat slots. There is also a infinite gil trick  using the GF's call shop ability where you buy tents or Cottages from one shop refine them into Mega Potions and Sell high at another shop. With infinite gill it's easy to get the stat increasing items.

oh! This isn't really a glitch but I thought it was kinda out of place. I noticed the world map in the Inn at Winhill, but its NOT the FF8 world map. See it by the stairs?

that money making one isnt really a glitch... and yes with that you can make stat up itemsbut it takes HOURS

My favourite is probaably the backwards long jumping glitch is Super Mario 64. The Murder Beam and the Space/Time beam in Super Metroid is also cool. Heck, both those games have a set of really cool glitches.

Bunnyhopping, hands down. Made famous by quake and valve games, it's actually a feature in a lot of their modern games.

Bunnyhopping = jumping and hitting jump as soon as you land and using a combination of strafe turning to gain speed. It's best in games like hl2 where you have sprint, so you can keep going at sprint-jump speed with out depleting stamina.

DELTA FORCE:

In some versions of Delta Force you can see people through grass and over/around hills in MP by simply reducing your graphic quality settings, since the game won't render the blades, and reduces the geometry of the ground. Doing this also decreases "processing lag."

You can also see through walls & floors using several methods. Standing on crates which will cause your head to pop through the ceiling and into the room above, for example. You can also use the "lean" function to see and shoot through walls! (But it's a "double-edged sword," as you expose yourself when doing this.)

RED FACTION:

In the MP of Red Faction, you can switch teams in the middle of a multiplayer match. This allows you to create weakspots in your own base using explosives, and then change teams in order to take advantage!

The skill learning glitch in FF tactics.
The item multiplying glitch in FF7.
The weapon cloning glitch in FF4.
Pretty much all glitches in Ocarina of Time.

Wow, mine is oblivion, I found so many! But my favorite is going to a non-textured world! (when you go into the market district into 2 of the corners there are doors to the watchtowers,[I am pretty sure] get on top of that door, the roof of it, then try and reach the very peak of it and then into the small crease, and bam! your outside!)

This was overall just really weird, but in the original Parasite Eve in the office next to the police chief's office I was suddenly able to walk through everything, above walls .. past walls .. desks .. etc etc .. I don't know what triggered it but it sure was crazy.
