I don't like your obsessive use of overlays. All of the screen tints and lighting effects really take away from the game and they're typically used by noobs to try and make their games look flashy. Don't fall into that trap.

Other than that, I like the characters- especially the names. It's sad that lame japanese names are so common that when somebody doesn't use them it's a plus. Good luck.

WHEW...started my first semester of college a couple weeks ago, and thats been going really good. Ive still bee workin on the game lots, just havent had time to update all the time. Still look for more help with this project, so if u want in just let me know. C&C welcome, and yes you are still a beta-tester. I also need some more beta-testers, although you must be an active member of the community whom i can trust not to steal all my custom work. Ya, thats actually a really old picture...I should probably take it down...The chars dont fit with those gfx, theyre too bright. And the tileset....well dont get me started on that. thanks stevo.

I made it myself, and its the first tileset ive made, editedall myself....not bad eh? I'll release the custom gfx as the chapters come out. So just stick around and wait for the demo/chapter w/e and ill prolly release them then.

Updated the Battle System information with tons of new info on our custom battle system. All info is now updated to reflect the current state of the game, and everything is working 100%.  Be sure to check it out and let me know what you think!

I like how you have the maps down and the battle system looks really good, I couldn't decide whether I would use the blue or the black skin as both suit it just fine, maybe you could add an option for players to choose which skin they use? just a thought, also the menu is pretty original or at least to me.

We already have an option for switching skins, for the battle system, and the main menu. It doesnt just change the colors either, it changes the pictures altogethor. Theoretically, we could have a feature were a fan/player could make theyre own skins and release them, but at the moment there are more important things for us to do.

Finally got around to updating the story section with more background information. This is what people wanted, and I promised, so now i'm delivering. Added some history of the planet, and added separate sections for some of the city's.

Nice project, but... Why is everyone talking about amnesia? The story says the Seth guy woke up confused and it was still night, the sun never rose, blablabla, and that's the point of his journey. Where did this amnesia thing come in?

Anyway, I like it, nice screens and custom systems, but your story is explained very vaguely. At the end it says "How will people live? Monster anybody?" Monsters are never mentioned before, but at the end it is implied that now somehow monsters have appeared. You should try to explain that more.

Anyways, keep it up.

Bridgeman, if you read the first couple thread, it is explained that very early in development i changed the story. Amnesia has nothing to do with the story.That was like a totaly different game. Anyways, ill take a look at the other things you said, and try to explain some more. THANKS!

I sense a distinct lack of guitar in this game. I also think the drum solo could do with some work.

Solution: Put some strings on Nix's axe and you have a game of pure win.
