In RMVX if you prefix a character set with a $, such as $001-Fighter01.png, it will be treated as an individual set much like RMXP.

Kisa Yukaki: I'm happy you like them so far, i plan to work on the obese template soon too, want to work on some chubby characters for innkeepers and shop owners :D

Added a very simple edit to extras section, cat mask.

Thanks i'm pretty happy with the hair animation for her because it was my first time animating that type of hair.

Started working on the next character peeps, female warrior.
I wanted to keep the hair short but feminine at the same time, hope that's how it looks to you guys too XD, if there's anything wrong with her let me know, i may change some colors in the end.

Forgot to add separate maid hair before.

Edit: Updated the current wip picture.

Edit: Just noticed a small error with the clown hat for the frontal second and fourth frames, and i have fixed it.

Female warrior coming along, i've added more color to the hair and have all standing frames and frontal animation complete.

I missed two pixels (Very minimal Shading) to the ear for the top row of the side frame, not noticeable really but i thought i'd let you guys know that i corrected that

It's coming along very nicely. I might try some spriting on this template next week, it doesn't look too difficult.

I'm now working on the tileset, got the side roof complete and i've made some other little improvements, i'm sort of taking a break from the rtp characters as i work on this.
I'm also working on a known character you folks never thought you'd see on this sort of template XD, i will put up a wip if the first frame turns out well.

Here's the first frame, I will keep screwing with it to see what i can improve more, started working on it for fun but then i got in to it, sorry about the dark background color.

Lol yeah i was thinking of the game then and thought that would be an unusual character to go for.

Been working on the tileset all this time, had to reorganize the entire thing because of the fence, been working on that for a while today anyway.. the fence is a pain, but i took a break from that and decided to make a better ground auto tile, what do you guys think of this one so far?

Same here, and i can't find the grid (not that i looked that hard... but i did look!) So excellent job!

Glad there are no complaints yet, have another picture here and wanted to know which you preferred of the two, i can go either way though i'm sort of leaning towards the left picture right now.

Everything for a standard town tileset is complete but when you're nearing the end you begin to look for things to add and improve, after this ground auto tile and fence are done i will post this but i think i will still add a couple of things afterwards..

I personally like the one in the left!
It fits the tileset better, IMO. ^^

My suggestion would be to keep both tiles; more different tiles means more variety.

Thanks for the comments guys, i will upload both then, i like the left more so i will have it with the tileset and upload the other separately, i wont post anything else until i complete the tileset then

XD Alright i'm keeping the first look of the grass on the tileset now and the other will be the extra, i have all i need to release the tileset but i just become frustrated when it comes to the fence, sooo i was wondering if anyone could help me out there, i just don't want to screw with it anymore, .. anyone up for it? If so i'd like something around the size of the characters please.

I can just post it without the fence too though.
