I'm the same with maps. Inner maps look nice, but my towns are horrible.

Heh, I'm that way, too. I'm pretty much only good at interior maps, and natural environments, like forests, and stuff. My towns... not so much.

I wonder what it is about town mapping that makes it more difficult.

It's that in nature you just throw stuff randomly around and it looks good, interior maps it's small and once you get the hang of rooms there's a lot of stuff to put in. But in a town you need to make stuff organised (Your street, for example, is probably straight with square-shaped properties running down the sides) and it's hard to do that without making it boring, especially as rtp has nothing to put in apart from barrels and lampposts =p

I suppose you're right. Well, smaller villages wouldn't be as organized as, say, a castle town.

Thanks, I think that I will be puting in some screan shots now, I've made some maps, and so far they are working pritty good (Exept for one part where there are rocks floating in the sky (I'll have to fix that))!:D

Anyway, Theres a dragon in this next part, and I was wondering if anyone could make a sprite of Elvander riding the flying dragon that is blue with green stripes?:-/

Wow, Dream, that's actually quite good! It puts all of my frankensprites to shame. :'( You have quite a bit of talent there!

Although, if you what it to look like she's sitting down, in the front view, then maybe if you brought the bottom of the dress up a pixel, or two... Possibly. I dunno, I'm no spriter.

Oh, yeah! A lot of people would've just made a request topic for something like that, but you went ahead, and did it yourself, and quite well!

If you take a look at some of the spriting tutorials that the tutorial section has to offer, you could refine your abilities, and become a great pixel artist!

I'm not even exaggerating here!
