I like this. Its actually pretty good.

One thing... I did not actually have to find the pink stone. I didn't find it and I could still talk to Elvanders mom and go to sleep. Might want to fix that. It is a crucial part of the story apparently. I didn't have to get the sweetrock(?) or the root.

Other than a few mapping and event errors so far so good!

Also, I could not get past the forest. Where do I transfer?

What are those brown things?

you have to talk to jon before you can get out....
(I have to fix that...)
Anyway, I am working on it a lot, and maybe I can put it out with less stuff wrong with it in January.
And how do you make pictures for your game? I'm not sure what size you make them on. For my begining credits. ;)
Merry Christmas Everyone! ;D

Lol, in the bit when you are meant to get the ingredents, i didn't know where to go but when i went back in the house and talked to the mum without getting them, it was like if i had already got it...

Well, first you make the picture itself.  Then, in your materialbase, you go to pictures and import that picture.

Then, in the game wherever you want the picture, in the event area its on page 2, you click show picture.

Then, you probably wanna check "center", and then, if you want the picture in the middle of the screen, I usually go with

X: 310
Y: 250

Then, when your done showing that picture, you put "Erase Picture"

To make fading in effects, you'll go back to show picture, but change the opacity to a lower number.  Then, copy and paste that, but the next part with a higher opacity.  Continue that until you have 255 opacity.

Here's the event thing you use:

Hope I explained that well enough.  o.o

I'm just wondering though, for the title screan, the paint has to be like 480 by something or other, does it have to be like that for pictures?
Also, how do I make a picture fade in and out?

If you want the picture to take up the whole screen, then the picture has to be 640x480 :]
As for making them fade in and out. You have to change the picture's opacity. You can do that in the Show Picture command :]
For example..
Show the picture, and start the opacity with 10 on your picture (You dont have to start with 10, just an example  :P"
wait 1 frame (Or however many frames you want)
show the same picture, but with a slightly higher opacity like 20 or something.

An easier way is just to use 'Move Picture' and put the Opacity higher and put the wait frame to however long it takes to fade in or out. Just a tip :)

Whoa! I never knew you could do that from move picture...I guess that's because I never use move picture.
haha.
I just learned something :P

Well, I did the begining credits, and I think that it looks pretty good! I got them to fade! (It took a long time) And I hope that I have not frogoten anyone in the credits in the begining! ;D

;_; i told you that in my tutorial, but you didn't read?  I'm hurt, emotionally.

*cries in a corner*

Keep working on it!!

not that, I mean the paint file, the size of the pain file!
In pain, in the corner of the screan it shows how big your pain is (Ie. how big the white box is) I used the thing from your tutorial for the pictures "320-250" It worked really well! Anyway, I don't need the other thing now, so it should be out by january! ;D
