There's no possible way it could technically be "Dragon Ball", because Goku is a child in Dragon Ball, then in DBZ he is an adult.
But at the same time, Piccilo isn't "evil" in DBZ, either.. this movie is basically going it's own way.

Kinda pointless.
It's expected that Bullshit (DB:Evo) would have continuity changes and other major differences from the source material. Being that an American film and Japanese Animation are two completely different mediums, things HAD to change. This being said, the amount of changes seem rather ridiculous and pointless.
This is based on primarily Dragon Ball and not really DBZ.
Don't really see any DBZ elements other than Goku being old.
Not gonna go back and check who asked but to whoever asked who the girl in the photo is, it's not Chi Chi. Her name is Mai and she's Pickleho's ninja assassin sidekick/head bitch. She has the ability to shape shift and act poorly.
To me, it seems like they made her Asian because they had a serious lack of Asian characters. Goku should have been Japanese. I know that he's white to appeal more to American audiences and shit but even if he were even KINDA Asian. Like half Japanese or something.

I dunno about that.
I think they did a pretty poor job.
I'm really picky about that sort of thing but from what I saw in the HD trailer, it looked pretty alright. But not really good.
Hopefully they have time/money to make it better.
From what I've seen, no aspect of the movie looks quality.
Poor acting, poor plot (from what I've read and the trailer), costumes look ridiculous, effects are mostly blah, action sequences look like they might be very cheesy and even the name sucks.
