Akame ga Kill!

Akame ga Kill!

First episode. Oh yeah, I think I'm going to love this. I don't want to ruin it but towards the end its just... wow.

I've been watching a few recently.
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei is pretty damn sweet. It helps when you imagine it as a military university, rather than a school. It's got some pretty nice visuals!
I also began a bit of Ookami Kakushi. That's a strange but good series.
I showed my bro and his gf the first Bereserk movie as well as some Mirai Nikki. Those are both my favorite shows I think.

I also watched some Panty & Stocking With Garterbelt. It's a pretty awesome and light show with some pretty funny things like each time something dies.

Oh and the Bayonetta anime is pretty cool although it (understandably) skips a lot/cuts corners.

Panty and Stocking sounds like a death trap for Jason.

I finished reading Ranma 1/2 after putting off the last 4 volumes for months. S'okay.

I was just thinking how Naruto shippuden is to Naruto what DBZ is to the original dragon ball.
Like in Dragon ball, and I guess the early part of DBZ, it was all learning new moves and secret techniques. And then they traded it all in for super speed and energy blasts and followed the same powered up villain formula in the tv show and movies.

The original Nartuo had amazing fight scenes. I still go on youtube to watch certain fights. IMO, shippuden didn't have any memorable fights except for Hinata Vs Pain and that was mostly due to her confession. Although I haven't watch the last 100 episodes or so; maybe something decent has happened in that time if it's not all flashbacks and filler arcs.

I finally finished Gurren Lagann. I'm gonna rate it overhyped.

I started watching a series called Hamatora a while back but left it hanging because of other stuff. It's interesting and stylish and when shit goes down it gets real.

Mahouka Koukou No Rettousei has this habit of curving it's arcs. It'll start out meh. Pick up a bit before settling down then getting really awesome, then it'll start a new arc. but it's fine. It's a nice series.

Argevollen is getting pretty good! I didn't like the design of the mech at first, but it's actually nice! Pretty different!

Zankyou No Terror. I'm really enjoying it! I don't quite understand the main characters intentions, but I'd have to liken this to something like death note. It's pretty awesome!

I gave Shit Ass Ovaries II a chance and actually I'm pleasantly surprised!
Kirito is still a Mary Sue, but that's just the trend with most animes these days! Like they try to make him a monster but then they're like LOL NO HE'S OUR PRECIOUS!
The animation is AWESOME though!

Also, just to show you all how insane Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei is, have a gif:

The Arc Curves are a bit off putting but right now it's at a peak again! It'll resolve soon, and then begin it's shitty resolution, before starting a new arc with a shitty buildup before getting super awesome again! :P

SAO2 is pretty alright IMHO. Compared to ALFheim, most definitely so. I never really liked Kirito as a character to begin with, so that's nothing new. The Death Gun plot interests me, though. I'm legit curious as to how the bad guys are doing what they're doing.

Also watching Akame ga Kill, which is solid and completely absurd. In a good way.

I started reading Inari Kon Kon, Koi Iroha because the latter part of the anime put the whole angsty teen friendship/romance on the backburner in favor of plot that actually involves godly powers . The manga kept me interested. I burned through the current 44 chapters in no time at all and I'm looking forward to more.

Koe no Katachi (or, A Silent Voice) is something you don't see a whole lot. Basically a dude who bullies a deaf girl in elementary school (like, to the point of ruining her life), ends up fucking up his own life in the process somehow. The story really starts with him in high school at rock bottom, where he aims to find the girl and apologize to her before killing himself. The one-shot is definitely worth a read, and I'd give the manga itself a recommendation .

SAO2 has the advantage of great animation. Like, most anime with fluid animation wins me over!
The plot's somewhat interesting but I hate how they throw in those flashbacks of Aincrad to parts that they didn't actually put in SAO. They most likely were part of the novel or manga, but the fact that they're just throwing this into the anime now just annoys me.
I agree, Death Guns plot does indeed intrigue. I wanna know how it works. I really, REALLY wanna know what his real (user)name is! But no. Kirito had to be a massive dick butt!

If I'm honest, I don't mind Kirito that much. But he's just... I dunno. Like, at the start of Aincrad, there were about 4 love interests. One died and the other two weren't as hot as Asuna... Then he goes and risks his life for her while his sistercousin incestcrushes on him. And now this new girl is getting close. She's a cool character, but holy fuck she is crushing hard on him. And Kirito is either oblivious (how the fuck can you be that dense?) or he's playing on it.
He's good at what he does though.

Also, I finished Zankyou no Terror.
It's a beautiful story... I don't quite get why nine and twelve did things that way though...
I shoulda known things were going to end the way they ended when Five said "Do you think these boys have a future?!" It's a shame. They completed their mission, but I really did NOT think it would end like that.

I think it's my anime of the year. But we'll see...

It had fucking beautiful animation and an amazing soundtrack. On par with Ergo Proxies!

Then you'll be glad to know the tournament arc is over now.

...and hooooly shit that got real towards the end of the episode. Kazuto's heroic entry just sealed that scene for me.

Agreed!
It's a shame, that character seemed like a nice guy, although he did start getting creepy, even when he first confessed! Guess they've got one Death Gun proxy now though! Although I'm interested to see how the next episode pans out. They left it just as the action was beginning to pick up. I think perhaps Kirito will start losing the fight and the girl may have to kill that guy... Maybe...

The next Digimon anime is going back to Digimon Adventure series. With Tai in highschool. A lot of people are wondering how much of it is getting retconned. There are a lot of continuity issues between the Japanese version and the english version already. Supposibly the Digimon Adventure psp game deviated a little from the show, but I don't know how much.

If you click the egg here, it'll eventually hatch and reveal more details. But the first egg was nothing to sink your teeth into. I'll help hatch the second egg, but if its nothing big I'll just forget about it and wait till the dumb thing comes out. I loved the first 3 seasons of Digimon as a kid. But after that they kept changing everything. Even the digimon world games went from V-pet, to dungeon crawler, to rpg, to hack and slash, to tournaments, then back to original.
I don't have a lot of faith that it'll be any good at this point.

It's amazing how boring but interesting Log Horizon can be. It's boring because there's hardly any action and most episodes are just characters talking in a room. I'd stop watching except they'll introduce something new and I'll want to see where it goes. Like the recent implications of flavor text.

My life is anime atm.
Been watching Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I'm loving it.
M3: The Dark Metal is pretty awesome and the mechs in it are sweet as hell although LIM is... Well...
Shirogane No Ishi Argevollen is developing well too.
Gundam: G no Reconguista is quite cool. Bell is an idiot though.
Psycho-Pass 2 is great although I hate the new inspector.
Recently finished Tokyo Ghoul. Wasn't that a trip. Glad there's going to be a second series otherwise I'd say the ending was shit.
Mahouka Koukou no rettousei hasn't had a new episode for a while...
SAO 2 is... Lets face it. It'll never be as good as it first was... Just like beating a dead horse now. With that being said, I still watch.

I think that's it...

Edit: That's not it! Zankyou no Terror was amazingly awesome! The OST is brilliant too!

Found a bloody weird animé, it was middle school life for girls running an after school club and then they all turned into super heroes with their mobile phones.
