Well Issac is using just mining tools and creating his own weapons. While armed guards would have used guns and that sort, which prove absolutely ineffective against these creatures.

But those Benches are everywhere, meaning that they're used often by people. On a research space station capable of cracking PLANETS, there would have to be hundreds of engineers and combat engineers ATLEAST as capable with machinery as Isaac. Atleast ONE guy!

I mean, no one had the wisdom to go, "Hm, these monsters mean business", then try to lock themselves up in a closet with no vents or something?

I'm really enjoying this game. I started playing on medium but it was way to easy, so I started playing on hard. I just got to chapter 3. As much as I hate EA, this game is rather good.

I never played metroid, but from my experience so far with the game, your pretty much alone fighting these creatures. No teamwork ever unless I haven't gotten to that part yet. It's survival horror, your alone on an alien infested spaceship. just how I like it

yes it's a good game, it's worth playing definitely. but i'd rent it because it's not very long and there's not a huge amount of replay value.

you beat it all ready, lol. I'm only on chapter 3 so far on hard, but then again I got it like a week after it came out.

lol, plz don't get the wrong idea. it's not the quality of anime-based games. it's made as if its it's own original ip, like god of war and the like, Not a game that just puts together anything just to follow the story of the anime.

Yeah I didn't notice anything having to do with Japan at all outside of the name of the ship you're running through (The Ishimura). Even the guys in the posters and everything look caucasian and nothing else has a japname.

shin migumi's a moron, it's not an anime it's a graphic novel and it was made after the game so the game itself doesn't have anything to do with anime at all.

There is a anime as well. Its set after the graphic novel and before the game, called Dead Space: Downfall. So he isn't a moron.

How could it be? The anime was made after the game. The anime is based on the game not the game based on the anime.

I find a lot of NEXTGEN games are like this. I LOVED MOH Airbourne but it was so short. Same with the likes of Army of two aswell. I have a 360 though, would have thought these bluray disks could hold more space which would = more of a game. That not the case?
