Cassy, you are making your judgments based on preconceived cultural notions that you were raised with.  Rather than looking at the topics LOGICALLY and WITHOUT BIAS you are believing that the notions of morality that you've learned from your upbringing are both natural and universal, when they obviously are not.

I'm sorry, but what exactly is so illogical about thinking in a fashion that takes our current-day (and dating back to god-knows-when) cultural trends into consideration?
It seems to me that disregarding these things is slightly more illogical.

It seems to me that disregarding these things is slightly more illogical.

'Taking them into account' is illogical in itself because it simply says "Let's continue to think this way because we always have."  It's a logical fallacy called 'appeal to tradition'.

The only reason Cassy (and you) have offered as to why cross dressing should be considered weird is because it was considered weird at some point in our past, and we should therefore continue that tradition.

That doesn't cut it.

Allowing women to walk alone to a store, or socializing with other women, or even to talk to men who weren't of family was weird at one time.  Why?  Because the ignorant assumed that's how it was, hence should always be.  And someone said, I'm sure, it's 1408 and female power is weird.

Depends. If by this you mean they have fetiches for fur then fine, but if they start screwing animals without consent then that's wrong as it's rape. But if the animals give consent p), then nobody's getting hurt.

Again, if it's just looking at it then whatever, it's drawings, it's not like real kids are being abused. But the minute a real kid is involved, yes it is wrong, as it hurts someone else.

Barely dressed people in public

Nothing wrong with this at all. Hell, we should be allowed to walk around completely undressed if you ask me.

"Oh noes, my kid saw a woman's pubes! The world is going to end!" it's not like he's not gonna see that (and do stuff with that) later in his life anyway.

People eating their own fecal matter

While it's disgusting IMO, some people like that, and it's their bodies so their choice. I wouldn't recommend it as it spreads disease and all sorts, but in the end it's their choice.

This IMO is wrong, and these guys (or gals) should be helped. Hence why I said "most of".

Body is an art so cross dressing should never be a big deal.

Cross dressing is strange, but it shouldn't illegal or anything. Woman often wear the exact same clothes as men (jeans and a t-shirt), so why can't men do the same? But, the reason it looks strange is because its not normal. And, just for you people who want to say "But what defines normal?", I'm defining normal as acceptable by a large portion of society.

Sex changes, on the other hand, are wrong. You can't be "a woman born into a man's body". You are what you are. If you are a man, but you THINK you are a woman, that doesn't make you a woman. Having a sex change would be no different than having a dolphinplasty.

I know I'd be a woman if someone gave me the choice. Not because I think I am a woman, but because I want to be. It'd be a hell of a lot more fun, and well, guys are icky. :p Does that make me "wrong"? Like the dolphinoplasty, if they want it, why not? People have tatoos, they're permanent and cost a lot of money. People have boob jobs, face transplants, butt tightening, lipo suction, etc. So why not sex changes?

If this is true, then where is the logical connection between "X is normal" and "we should do X"?  Just because something is normal and done by the majority of the population doesn't mean it's a good example to go by.

Come down to where I live.  Being white is not acceptable by a large portion of the society here.  If your white, have fun being wrong.

Sexism, racism, all that jazz.  ALL CONSIDERED NORMAL by society at one point, or still is.  There are pockets of people, with their own cultures and subcultures and everything, who would define a computer to be wrong, destructful, and something that shouldn't be - like a bad South Park reference.

Notice the trend that the society norm does not equal universal truth, right?  If a society declares it fine to rape women whenever you want, is that good?  Right?  True?  Absolute?
