It has been five years since the horror occurred. Alexis, Chris, and Ellie have been living together, trying to make ends meet. ... And trying to help each other through the nightmares, through the heartache of loved ones lost, through all of the pain.

But Ellie has taken the biggest hit. In her dreams, she sees that city. And when she wakes she feels pain. More and more each day. She can feel something inside her ... telling her ... driving her ... to go back to Black River.

Today is the day that she decides to return, to find out the truth of her identity and the city itself.

Ellen Walker
Age: 17
Sex: F
Occupation: Book Store Cashier

Ellie is back, with a bold new look, on a search for the truth. Tortured by the pain that has not left her since the incident, she forces herself to go back to Black River.

Alexis Beauvais
Age: 27
Sex: F
Occupation: Freelance Photographer

Alexis gradually begins to have a sinking feeling. She wakes up in the middle of the night with a horrible nightmare of the city being consumed by an undefinable darkness, a human figure at it's source. She goes to Ellie's room, but she is no where to be found. Just what will she do?

Chris Walker
Age: 24
Occupation: Store Manager

Chris is quickly woken up by Alexis. As soon as he hears her utter the words "Ellie is gone" he runs outside, to find that his car is missing. He suddenly panics, becoming naucious. Just what will he do?

Several other characters may play a role in this story ...

The Arcade Shops
The Beginning area where the horror begins. Loosely inspired by Resident Evil 3.
The Other Police Precinct
My second attempt at trying to create a police station, with some influence from Resident Evil 1.5.
I am very satisfied with this particular location and how it turned out.
The Hospital
Perhaps the largest area in the game, and maybe even the scariest.
Caves
A somewhat large area, full of puzzles. An area that is full of surprises and revelations. The idea was
originally inspired by the abandoned military bunker location in Siren 2, but it has branched off into
something entirely different.
???'s Home
My candle to you in the dark. In my mind, there is something frightening about a large, lit house,
with seemingly no one inside. Somewhat of a small mansion.
Art Gallery
A large, mansion like building full of works of art. Inspired by Resident Evil 1's Mansion & 2's R.P.D and also,
stylistically, loosely based off of my plans for a game entitled REBIRTH (which I plan to create
after Crepusculum 2).

Be careful! You could find yourself trapped!

+ Equip various stun gun upgrades to aid you in your struggle for survival.
+ Experience deeper, more intuitive locations that create a more unifying effect.
+ Solve puzzles using a newer, more advanced puzzle system that gets rid of the text-input style puzzle solving.
+ Play as Ellie, with a new perspective.
+ Learn more about your favorite Characters.
+ Face new, more terrifying monsters, including several new types of zombies
+ Emmerse yourself in the terryfing atmosphere.
+ Be truly horrified of the darkness that awaits you.

Sounds Cool! Haven't played the first game... were can i download it?

I love horror, films and games. Working on my own horror game called, No Pulse. Will put it up here in time.

Hey Ceru. I've downloaded the first game, yet I am stuck on the very first puzzle. Could you PM me a walkthrough up until the part when you're in an elevator please? :D

As for this sequal, it looks great. I mean the graphics look a lot better, and scarier, and I know I will enjoy looking at the story from a different perscepctive, even though I hav'nt seen it from one yet.

You didn't ask for me, but...
First you get the first battery plug in one of the two rooms that are open to you, then check the plant in the top right corner of the map and select "move". Then you type in "LEAVES" to move the leaves, press the action button again and you'll receive the second battery plug. Now go to the elevator and select "Use" and type in "BATTERY PLUGS" (remember to use only capital letters) and the elevator should work. :)

I'm glad you're excited. Please read Ratty's explanation of what to do. :)

Now, there is a walkthrough for this beginning area on the main page. And more walkthroughs will be made, by KitanaSanti. :)

The first three areas of the game are almost complete. It's showing great progress and the new puzzle system is working well.

It's fun, and you won't stop play it cause you want to see what happens next!

It has been a long time folks, but I have begun work again on Crepusculum! I took a long vacation from the project after frustration with sprite creation, but now I am back on track .. only to be invited by a few scripting issues that force me to only use SDK ver. 1.5 (I've learned my lesson: do not combine non SDK compatable with SDK)
