The site says a lot of things, its lying.
BUt yeah, nice proportions you got there, and great job on the palette, I like the red/green/brown you've got going.
Though her navel is too low on her body.

Actually I think the navel is fine. The only thing that bothers me a little is her hand: it looks a liiiittle too big, and the wrist joint is set too low (it should be at the bracelet). It's cute though! Nice work :3

I didn't see anything wrong with the original. But I guess you're going to have to take V's word for it seeing as she's one of those artist type people. Your style still never ceases to amaze me. O_o its mind boogling too because its so simple yet its so intricate.

But I do think that shadow needs to be a tad bit darker on the new one. But the colors of the background are whoa so it doesn't matter either which ways.

But i did it for my little sister and her new found international friend nagomi. (Foreign exchange student)

A little something to commemorate their time together. they liked it. which is all that matters in the end.

You got some skills with vector. I like your lines in particular - the varied weight. Anytime I try in vector I get perfect width noodle looking garbage and just run back to Photoshop. :/

unfortunately your photoshop will will get more oo's and ah's from the masses, my vector tends to get "oh that woudl make a cool sticker"

Seriously, the best thing on this page is that sketch of the girl with the necklace. Freaking awesome. I think the problem with the girl next to her is that her mouth is lopsided. But I really do think the girl with the necklace is amazing.

Redesigning her again because frankly she just looked too Cow girl, and while i (sometimes shamefully) love wild arms, It's not what i'm going for.
