Chara style for my game.

I only read the post about needing help, so i dont know if anyone has told you this yet, but on gavin, when he swings his arms back, because of the way you made his clove it looks like only the hand moves, not the arm at all, this bugs me a little, but it might be the way you wanted it. also the same goes for when it swings forward, just a little bit less so.
 
I love the style, for some reason it reminds me of Tim Schaefer's stuff in Psychonauts, that offbeat cartoony quality. This is a useless post, but keep up the good work, I can't wait to see this game when it's done.
 
The coloring is so simple, and looks so good with the outline, these would be fantastic for beginning spriters! I'm always getting bored with sprites so much so that I usually only finish the front-standing pose before going off to do something else!

The circles under the sprite corespond to the shape of the face. The last one is what should probably be the side view IMO. See how there is a slight point comapred to the side view? Also I noticed that there is far too much skin? in front of the eyes on the side view. I think it should be a bit closer and remember that the mouth-nose area should stick out more than the eye area.

The two square/rectangles are the over all width of the arms. The first is front and the second is side view. Considering that you'll probably need to try and widen the side view by a few pixles. Hope that this is much more clear for you. :D

I updated myself with a new signature banner. But I'm not just bumping to say that- you can see that I have some new sprites to show in the banner itself. Gavin's alternate black coat, and then Tobias now has glasses. At the end, the skinny guy, is Piers.
 
Piers is neat, but the cool thing is the alternate outfit- if Gavin can change clothes throughout the game, that'll be awesome.

Oh oops you know what else I forgot to say is that on the side view you have too much of the white showing on the eye. When you are looking on the side the colored part is viewed first and then the white. So I hope that helps you too. Hope that isn't too late. :D

Oh man are you going to use alternate clothing styles? *pouts* Aww man I thought I was the only one going to do that! :D Well coolnes man anyway I always thought that was a fun idea well as long as it doesn't get too "Dress sphere"y if you know what I mean. ;)
 
Ah, thank you for the eye comment. I didn't even notice- since all I did was copy and paste one of my front-view eyes.

As for the outfits, no, there's no special system for alternate clothing. Gavin's outfit simply changes two times during key points in the game (for example, when he steals a hat that he likes from a royal captain).

I really like the style you have made. It's nice to see that not everyone is using RTP or Half Kaizer (although I'm guilty of the secound one :P)

Also the way you have made these characters makes it look as though your template is a lot more flexible with the looks of the character.

Dude, Cortez, this Sprite Style ROCKS. I'm definatly going to use this with $t3v0s re-made RTP. Now, if only he will do the RTP more often, because they rock.
 
hm I have not been on RMXP for a while (I was at Philippines) . Anyways Im was gonna make a new game. I think im gonna use these Sprite Templates , Their Awesome! keep up the good work!
