Welcome to HBGames, a leading amateur game development forum and Discord server. All are welcome, and amongst our ranks you will find experts in their field from all aspects of video game design and development.
Joined rmxp.net ages ago. I posted some things. They went down fairly well. Now god knows how much later and I'm in the exact same situation with a different game, a sore throat and a moustache.
I joined in May last year after getting RMXP, then I never used it and never posted much, then a couple of months ago I got into using it and started to become a more active user and now have my first project underway, that's about it.
Hmmm I joined .net in 2005 under the name AbsolutelyBrainded (the name came from a friend whose msn had braindead in it, and I thought putting absolutely in front of it was better) when I had to do a school project in IT to make a game. I chose to make it on RPG Maker and that brought me to .net. In the shadows I made my own game and posted all the time in the general discussion subforums. I later lost contact with .net and didn't know it had changed to .org so I joined other forums finding out what the deal was. I was brought to .org where I changed my name to my real name, Jono Sasson, as I decided I didn't like people not knowing what my name was and calling me Absolutely, prior to .org. I again lost contact, and came back quite recently. So here I am!
I suppose my game's got quite a big following, but dunno if that really counts. Didn't change my name to a cooler sounding one with lots of numbers, didn't release my game, didn't become a mod, didn't win some contests, didn't win the £1m premium bonds prize.
Hmm... I turned 15. I started my tutorial on tileset designing, which has been received a lot better than I thought it'd be... 3400 views is pretty impressive to me.
I still don't have a game, but I'm working on two as an artist.
Not too much, really.
