Canadian Knights (56k Warning!)

Alright people, I need you to help me decide something.

The way combat is set up in Canadian Knights right now, I've reduced stats and numbers across the board. At level 5, characters have things like 30HP, 10STR, so on and so forth.

The default battle algorithms are producing negative numbers from the math as a result.

The question - should I boost the HP back up into the hundreds and other stats 4x higher or so, or should I work on rewriting the combat algorithms?

Rewrite the method! I have an edited method from an older game that may work. Please note that I used dex as pdef.

Rewrite. Prexus created a really powerful and easy to use script for changing your combat algorithms, you might want to check into that!
