photobucket has a horrible habit of resizing, likewise both photobucket and imageshack are known for their useless clatter and annoying as hell navigation and upload placement and method. It's like using myspace as a journal/blog (ha - remember online journals? god i feel old . . . ), too much crap that you don't need compared to what you want, and the simplicity in which you want it.

I swore I commented on these already but apparently I didn't :x
I actually don't like them, but I find them to be better done in general than the breeze. I find the breeze more appealing because of it's general cartoony (including some of the palette choices) nature.
Yours is fine on it's own though it seems too simple on it's own, but the connotation as an improvement seems iffy since it's all opinion and the reference made me think of it vs. the breeze template instead of initially thinking of it on it's own.
The template itself, as I said, seems simple and kind of drab but the sprites made from it that I've seen swerves that around. Still a bit small for my liking, good job overall. Absolutely love the feet.
