I decided to use a terribly bright pink and a limited palette.
I am really trying to recycle colors

its not done yet i still need to finish it

I dig the lips. Your pink is more purple thank pink. I could see a vibrant pink there. Its crazy looking! :D

the lips took me forever to get

Okay so this is super similar to last piece

It was super fun blocking the shapes and stuff for the face
this is just the lineart, hopefully I can color this
because that would be neat

i like this one hugely -- actually, i like THIS version much more than the finished version. feels more unsettling. this looks almost like one of those pictures where you at first see an old man or a boat or something but then you look at it harder and see that it's all a lady's silhouette or whatever.

i keep seeing one monster face and yet two faces at the same time and it is pretty trippy and awesome.

yeah i wasn't too huge on the coloring so that's why I never actually finished coloring it
but I did learn some coloring tips and ideas so Ive been playing with that

I am having a really hard time with coloring hair. Ive learned that I cannot use the blend tool to do hair because it looks really bad

I am really working on faces I try to do faces everyday or so
looking at other peoples art really helps a lot and I think I am picking up different things

For example I sort of learned lips from this:

I mean of course I still have a shit-ton more to learn but I have been really, really studying away and really looking at different types of art to learn different kind of things
and reading on different techniques

Also i still dont understand how people do lineart because I have seen people use masks and stuff like that
but for some reason I cant do that
so I end up just doing really quick, long lines

I like the hair and the lips, although there's something about the shape of the face... (unless it's a "style" ;P)
