I've noticed this a lot, actually. People without avatars who make topics (especially concept/projects) seem to get less interest than people with avatars for some reason. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I've noticed from the time I've spent in the various forums.Commodore Whynot":lqvpx19i said:I've also noticed without an avatar one tends to go completely unnoticed in a lot of situations, or at least feels that way.

In a way, you are like the Jester from Shakespeare's Tempest; someone who has very deep insights and wisdom, but cannot be taken seriously because of his Jester's attire. I think that people would discover distinct similarities if someone were to juxtapose you and the jester together.

Lol, sorry about that, I have a very bad habit of over-analyzing stuff and going off on tangents(After being in AP Literature and Language/Composition, the analytical mindset rubs off. :P).
Anyway, thanks for the kudos Atlet.
I agree with this 1000%. No avatar could mean the person is bland or plain imoabreaction":3cctreom said:If you have no avatar, there is nothing there to direct your attention, no eye candy, therefore it's not going to be popular. As well, if you have no avatar, this usually means you are a noob, and have not yet figured it out yet.
