Well it's definatly got some kinks to be worked out, but all in all I'd say it's not too bad. I'd focus on mainy getting the chat working and fixing passablity problems first, since I'm seeing Rats walking on walls, Sahagins on cliffs, and Kobolds on roofs, and I even walk through trees and walls sometimes, and I think this'd be much better if we could actually talk to each other in game.
The battle system isn't too bad, as it stands now it's a tad boring after awhile but I'm sure this'll be fixed once skills are usable and we see some smarter enemies than rats. I'd also like to see more in depth quests than "kill a monster and come get a reward", this is probably just because it's a beta though, when the full game comes out there'll probably be better quests.
Graphically the game is very pleasing. Although it's RTP, the edits are done very nicely and combined with some good mapping I believe this game'll be able to look as great as it'll play! The mapping needs work, but you mentioned before that the bad mapping's just done up for the demo so as we see newer versions I'm sure we'll see the map added on to and revamped.
I heard from other people that there was alot of lag, I experienced no lag at all but I'm playing on a computer which cost me about $1000 to build and is so fast it downloaded the game in about a half a second so I'm gonna have to take people's word for it, this'll definatly need to be fixed ASAP since nobody wants to play a laggy game.
All in all the game's great, you should stop putting yourself down about it because you did a great job with RMXP's first online game! There may be ALOT of bugs but it's only a beta, and we're not even playing on the new server yet! Now that you know the biggest bugs things'll probably clear up quick and once the new server's up the lag'll probably settle down. I know it's just a beta, so even with the bugs I'm not disappointed at all. The game'll be wonderful and once I play a bug-free version i might even start to consider buying the full version! Good luck with this Wyatt, I'll continue to play and watch closely :thumb:
