ABANDONED Retian - The Gatekeeper ABANDONED

Isn't there anybody that wants to post here? Or all of you people going to those zombie shooting games on rmxp.org?

I need you to tell me what would be cool on my storyline so I can get the sense of what is interesting, this is sorta my first game and I need you people to tell me what you want on this storyline!

Also, I am not going to do anything with zombies and guns and stuff.

ok, these are just my personal opinions, when it's said and done you decide what you do
i think most of your story is very interesting. i like the 'gatekeepers', and seperate worlds.
i don't think the characters fit into it very well. namely erica, roland and nina's roles. i'm not ever fond of the 'god' role in rpgs either. while i don't have a problem with cliches, they must be used properly and wisely. 'nina is the last of the race that can seal the gates and save the world...'

as a nitpicking, "As a new gateway opens", how do they open? they just randomly pop up? what did the Retian race do then? keep watch on the gates so no one went through? and if they keep popping up like dasies, how is the hero going to close them all?
maybe i'm just having a hard time understanding it, but you also need to better organize your story/ideas.

on a side note, it drives me crazy.... 'there' refers to a place. 'their' is ownership. look over there, where is their ring?

Hmm is it me only seeing the world "ABANDONED" in the topic name? I wonder why did you do that, zchin, even though it's your own choice and all. The project seemed to be interesting and looked promising. Care to explain?

this is practically my first game and I just wanted something else more original, I had an idea but to fuse it into the game it would change everything.

@Love - I appreciate the comment, but face the facts, if I was to never bump this at all then it would go to the abandoned section.

I just think that this game isn't appreciated, but I will make a way better storyline later on, probably before the end of august, maybe later though...

Hey, hey. Look at my game. It didn't get much comments, either. Every time I see a comment it's either "Good job, good luck" or "ooh nice game". It's pretty annoying, I know, but if you put too much work into something, don't give up now just because nobody looks at it. And having an active topic isn't necessary for you to work on the game. And when it's released with a demo at least, people will look at it and play, right?

Putting a lot of work into something gives you something that nobody can take away from you, it gives you practice and skills. I think that my heads always "In the clouds" as you might say it, but I think it's time to start something more original and all, I'd love to get annoyed by positive comments, but that's just me..

So I guess this thread doesn't serve much of a purpose anymore. I personally thought this looked kinda decent but okay. I hope you weren't expecting to get showered with positive comments because you were getting some good feedback here. But if you want it locked then lock away I shall~
